  i just turned 62 and celebrated my first birthday at a local restaurant.

  nothing exotic, just draft beer and a burger.

  i've been using my spare time to make my community a better place to visit.

  First, I reminded her how some Elders can be mean and uncaring, like when she was in the hospital for 30 days recovering from breast cancer, on her first meeting back at the hall, the Service Committee deleted her as a regular pioneer( she was on year 24 as a regular pioneer).

  That's just...really, really despicable ,James. Your poor wife! I'm so very glad she made it, though! You are both here to live and love and enjoy each others company!

  By the way I think it's a wonderful thing what you did with the "hands on" day for kids my boys still talk about the day they got to get in a fire engine and clamber all over the fire station! Kids love the real thing more than make believe.

  PS Great teacher Thanks for the tip I've just opened teen saving accounts for my boys and I'll encourage them to have a look at this thing you suggest. They will not be making the mistake their mum did.

  They're far more money minded than I was ..they call me the "Empath" and say I need to be more self centred but you can't teach an old dog .....we all go to the grave and you can't take it with you. I only wish I had more to give the ones I love is all...😥

  The cynic in me might wonder if India is a fertile field because of the tragedies so many families are suffering there right now with this terrible Covid strain and the black mold infection that's taken hold???

  Barbara I too know a little about this case and I'm literally jumping up and down with joy!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🍸🍻🍻🙌🙌🙌

  I believe our Mr. Zalkin had not a little to do with this wonderful outcome?!!

  I thought being in Utah they would have a hard time but it seems that the church can no longer hide it's abuses of children under a rock!!

  I'm so sorry you are going through this. I too didn't save, although I tried to buy a property fwhen I was very young I was so naive I got fleeced trusting the person I went into it with. I did get a sort of education young because I didn't agree with the JW view of charity and I wanted to work for Medicines sans frontiers or Medicine Sur le monde etc

  I suppose the positive is that you're alive to enjoy life. There are those who don't make it to our age or, worse, were so distraught they couldn't "live up" to Watchtower's fake so-called standards they took their own lives, or were even victims of Judge Rutherford's medical foibles.

  It's hard, I know, to struggle through weakening health in order to make ends meet. I take it you have a happy marriage - something good did then come out of the Org? I know many folks who like to see it that way. Do you have children? If so, I'm glad for you! Like Ray Franz I believe that's the most egregious thing the org did to many folks...deny them the right to feel happy about bringing a family into the world. I know it was his greatest regret (have you read his books, by the way? He too had to do manual work in his late 60s in order to make ends meet. If not please do read them).

  As to faith communities may I recommend Eric's you tube channel at Beroean Pickets also David and Vivian Aspinall. They will have details of their Zoom meetings where there is no talk of hell and the usual things that trigger many exJW yet they accept all view points.

  Decide that you deserve true friendship, commitment, true and complete love with healthy and prosperous people.

  That just niggles at me. Does it mean that if people aren't at your level of success (or God forbid, health) it's not worth your time associating with them?

  Most of what he says is bang on, but there's an underlying message that unnerves me. It doesn't mean that his words will have that affect on you, you may dismiss my fears as needy and clingy or the fears of an unsuccessful looser. But there you are. That's just me.

  Are they forcing kids to be vaccinated in the USA? I'm a nurse but there's no way I'd allow my 15 year olds to be vaccinated without far more data in areas like fertility etc

We all celebrate the brutal murder of a Catholic terrorist who tried to blow up the Houses of Parliament. We then make a stuffed replica of a human being and then set it alight😂

  And Bethel will begin lifting the lockdown soon.

  Just because those selfish old S.O.B. have had their two jabs...all's ok, business as usual.

  If this virus had only affected kids, babies and young people there would have been no Bethel lockdown and meetings and the D2D ministry would have continued for everyone as usual, irregardless of risk !!!😠😠😠
