  He has also made some comments on here I believe about writing the forward for Lloyd's second book that were suspect. He claimed that Lloyd could be earning a lot more in the secular world but cared so much about the exJW cause he was essentially taking a pay cut.

  You've got to be kidding me! He actually wrote that? C'mon Paul.

  That '2nd book' was another dubious act from Lloyd and I'd be surprised if Paul doesn't know why.

  A dude called 'The Great Apostate' (Neil) wrote a book about 'How to leave Jehovah's Witnesses'. He was very public about doing so and that it would be a free book to help PiMOs. Just after he published it, lo and behold Lloyd started to do exactly the same thing except he charged for the book AND started advertising for people to add their stories in the back!!! £200 no less!!

  I've noticed he refers to himself as a journalist now. I think that's a bit of a stretch merely for writing blog posts, given he has no training in the field.

  I've actually always thought it would was Marc O'Donnell who had the real literary talent on JW survey.Lloyd's gift is definitely being front of camera, rather than as a writer.

  It's strange because the megathread on Reddit has been 70 - 30 % reporting people happy to go back.

  I think most people are saying numbers are down. Some areas/KH don't even allow zoom hook ups any more. In person meetings are insisted upon which is incredibly uncaring about the elderly given high levels of Covid. How can they switch so fast from "we lovingly don't have meetings" to "you must attend meetings or you are not spiritual".

  i assume that the questioner had heard it somewhere and wanted to check it out.

  I had no idea about this and I thought I pretty much knew most of the bonkers idea's Watchtower had over the years! Did it even occur to them there might not be an atmosphere even remotely similar to ours? (never mind the temperature) .....even dinosaurs need to breathe!!!

  Can we get some support on the Reddit thread about this since the girl that posted it has had hate messages saying how they would like to see her die and how they want her to die. Post is also not visible because of downvoting. Just make a comment and vote up.

  Wow Bonnie Zieman left a message under Andrew Gould's video. Didn't know he was a BBC journalist. I couldn't get the whole message in but it continues with " (he)will do whatever it takes to maintain his income stream. Don't let him scare or bully you, Andrew.   Says he is sure Jessica (he names her) will have memories from this period. Again brings up Ukraine and seeing hospitals being bombed, and says it’s not as bad as that. Says he drove to the Hungary-Ukraine border to pick up refugees.

  My god this is awful. Poor kid. But how is that the fault of the Twitterati?? Jessica isn't on Twitter.

  What this means is that her parents are fighting - or Lloyd is raging, crying or otherwise acting out of character in front of her.

  Those of us who've suffered with narcissistic, aggressive or otherwise damaging parents know exactly what that feels like.😢

  He is traumatising her whilst blaming his Twitter followers, Kim & others for his child's state of mind.

  Where are you getting that number from? Remember: if things are wrong / invented, it gives him ammunition to claim "disinformation", so we need to stick to known facts.

  I agree, perhaps I shouldn't have posted that.

  He earns ten times the average good wage in Croatia. So I took the average good British wage £2,500 to £3000 per month and X by ten to give Brits an estimation of his standard of living.

  1. I should have made that clearer

  2. It may not be entirely relevent since Croatia has particularly low earnings and he would probably pay for goods and services/flights etc from companies based outside of Croatia therefore it's probably an inflated estimate in real terms.

  I don't like the thought of making posts he can use out of context so please remove it Simon if you want? Might be better.

  Simon but yeah "don't listen to the other side" is something that people in the right rarely say.

  He's desperate to stop people hearing any side but his, which is really very WT like.

  It takes a lot for Simon to compare someone's behaviour to Watchtower's, rightly so.

  It's the exjw equivalent to Godwin's law, or Reductio ad Hitlerem.

  But when needs must the Devil drives, I suppose. Sometimes the similarity is just so bleedin' obvious there's no other way to describe it!!

  For god's sake doesn't Lloyd ever listen to himself? Surely he must see it!

  i am as just wondering what the best way is to post a good quality image on the forum.

  is there anything we can do to improve an image we have?.
