while the rest of the world was dealing with covid, i was also dealing with cancer.
in fact it seems none of my doctors knew about it.

I understand why you posted this because it may seem insane of us to continue posting when there is no further "news" as such.
The reason we do so is to keep updating this thread so that it ranks higher in search results, it's as simple as that.
If someone searches Lloyd Evans we want them to be aware of his negative behaviour because for too long he has silenced and bullied others in this community and we don't want his victims to think they're alone.
There is also a deep conflict of interest in his use of exploited women and girls and his CSA, domestic violence and sexual assault advocacy. His fraudulent insistence that he cares for those leaving Watchtower has been exposed as a lie and his activism nothing but fiscal self interest - for which he has cruelly driven off anyone who is a threat or with a dissenting opinion to his.
The only ex witnesses he was interested in were those he could use for content or to further his career and he has never renumerated any of them.
There is method in our madness, Steve.

Beards- just told by an elder
by dothemath ini know this subject has been talked about lots over the years, just thought i would share a recent finding from canada.. while visiting with a group of friends, an elder (don’t recall how the subject came up) mentioned the local body had voted to allow brothers with beards be allowed to give talks from the platform.
(it was a very close vote).
the direction given was for each congregation to decide for themselves if that is now acceptable.. so some congregations will be for, and for many it will not.. it’ll probably be a long time before we see any pictures on the watchtower where they’re allowing this though..

St George of England Here in the UK in our congregation there are several brothers who have a full beard and are used to give talks, other meeting parts and prayers etc.
Back in the 1970's in another part of the country, I had a beard and never had any problem. Maybe a case of having to use what you have, cannot afford to be too choosy!

St. George Yes my JW best friend's father had a real "Santa" beard....pretty messy. He converted in the 70s after his wife got involved (always felt he did so to protect his family more than anything). I remember them arguing about his beard because after a few years the elders asked him to cut it off and he refused. He said it was bonkers because he'd always had a beard!
I think they really wanted him for an elder because he had the perfect witness family, was as an aircraft engineer and test pilot, so he was Uber useful - could make and design.anything. literally.
Kept the beard and worked behind the scenes doing the books and heading up building stuff.
If they need you enough...you get to keep the beard.
They need baptised males at the moment.

SBF Lloyd himself said in the Andrew Gold interview that exploitation in Thailand was a “conversation worth having”, yet to my knowledge he is yet to engage in that conversation.
I know. Also, when he was complaining about Kim Silvio's latest video, he said it proved that her heavy weight concerns about the conflict of interest in his using vulnerable, trafficked, third world prostitutes and being a CSA advocate, were therefore bogus.
Sort of implying the video proved it was just a frivolous obsession with his sex life😳🤦🤦.
Anyway the way he framed these "heavy weight concerns"(paraphrasing) was so spot-on I thought "so you do understand how women feel and the import of what you've done!!!. You just don't care!!".
Vintage He should “trademark” that expression and rent it out to politicians.

by Diogenesister ini just saw got a message from cappytan that he is going live on the 19th june est (uk 8 pm) with mark o'donnell & jake alt worldly to discuss the recent scotus ruling in favour of watchtower re: the stratton v. watchtower case.
so the stratton mayor required anyone canvasing door to door to fill out a form prior to visiting residents homes.
watchtower claimed the form, which required you to reveal your name, was unconstitutional and interfered with their first amendment, free speech rights.. my step father in the uk was responsible for our restriction on 'cold calling" law, enacted to protect the vulnerable from illegitimate businessmen, criminals and others intent on taking advantage of the vulnerable at home or otherwise doing them harm.

So the Stratton mayor required anyone canvasing door to door to fill out a form prior to visiting residents homes. Watchtower claimed the form, which required you to reveal your name, was unconstitutional and interfered with their first Amendment, free speech rights.
My step father in the UK was responsible for our restriction on 'cold calling" law, enacted to protect the vulnerable from illegitimate businessmen, criminals and others intent on taking advantage of the vulnerable at home or otherwise doing them harm. It is a by-law usually enacted in areas with high numbers of the elderly, assisted living or those with learning disabilities.
It's seems as if the Stratton mayor was attempting to do something similar?*
Anyway should be interesting since they are commenting on a watchtower video on the subject.
*NB there had been a recent murder of a householder by a canvasser in the next town.

Hang on...if by some chance he wins a case against any of them, will the Croatian government pay him the damages, since it's a criminal case? Anyone know? (It's just in the UK if the guilty don't pay up in a criminal case people can get damages from the government).

this includes discussion around his personality, motives and financial gains.
i have written a foreword for this book, because it is an important topic that has not been covered in such a complete format before.

Could it be part of a sales technique? For instance, Lloyd could have made more money doing ______, but he made the sacrifice of being a full-time critic of Watchtower instead. So we must support Lloyd's "work" because he is giving up so much more by being a anti-Watchtower vlogger.

Listen I think privately Paul probably sees the conflict of interest, but I know he's a genuinely nice guy and so is probably concerned about a pile -on and mental health. However I've come to see that sometimes being only kind, does not always benefit human beings in ALL situations.
And as far as I know he hasn't reached out privately (as a fellow Australian) to Kim, which to me would be the main thing.
