I mentioned on this thread that I thought he was on antidepressants, possibly amitriptyline and I was pretty certain he was taking benzodiazepine's (Valium is one kind).

This was apparent during his "I'm taking a break" video and therefore prior to Kim's first statement! I'm willing to bet he had a problem long before all this, so he has no right to blame Kim. This is yet another disgusting smear.

(It would also explain his injudicious posts in random comment sections).

He has also stated that prior to arriving in Croatia he & Dijana were in deep debt and that it took them quite a few years to pay it off. They both obviously have issues with managing money.

Given they seem to go away on breaks & holidays abroad at least 4 or 5 times a year, I find his claim to be broke as farcical. They just can't prioritise the money they do have properly.

Unfortunately I've no doubt he turns the emotional thumbscrews on a select few, Slim. Many of whom reason that the sheer volume of his output over time allows him more opportunities of reaching believing Jehovahs witnesses. Whether we agree or not, they probably prioritise getting the information out and therefore their own family and friends out, over the moral character of the man whose holding the biggest megaphone.

Even as a believer I'd never have thought that🤣I was always bored witless with the repetition. It's quite obvious you're never going to learn more than the rote 50 or so scriptures they teach....if they did, people would likely wake up. They have to keep you locked inside the school for dummies.

There's not likely to be anything new up their sleeves in terms of Biblical teaching on these courses. If there were the ordinary JW, as the foot soldier who does all the converting, would need to know it the most. This is why (unless you are very new) an elder is never going to have anything for you other than meeting/pray/ministry.....if anyone needs to metaphorically "unlock the keys to the kingdom" it's the regular publisher who makes the converts.

Slim Kim he keeps calling you a liar but also refuses to identify a single lie. In fact he himself confirmed the things you said in his own livestream.

I think Lloyd banks on the fact everyone lives in different jurisdictions to continue his absurd posturing, legal time wasting and the use of his platform to make genuinely baseless (libelous...one might say😭) and actually pretty damaging accusations toward people.

After all not every one is a part time You tuber of leisure.Some people actually have careers they have worked hard for.

If Kim had not retired and were to apply for a job, I'm sure being called a liar all over social media would not exactly help her chances. If we all lived in the majority of western countries I can tell you exactly how things would have gone down:

Firstly Mr. Evans would be having to pay a hefty wad of compensation for genuine libel. He'd find himself doing a fair bit of community service for admitting to breaking the law, at the very least. Finally, in many other sectors of the social activism world, he would be persona non Grata for being a complete asshole & would find himself doing a good bit of grovelling to save face and career.

This is a very interesting thread and I have enjoyed reading all the posts.

The good which some religions do (such as promoting sensible moral values and by helping the needy) could also be dome by purely secular organizations, however without organized religion it probably would be much harder to unite people into having a common set of values in a non-totalitarian way. It would probably also be hard to create secular institutions which would have enough power to effectively resist tyranny and organized evil.

I agree. However I think the Jan 6th event in the US merely demonstrates “entitlement” (as the kids would say) rather than the collapse of democracy, in that particular case.

SBFIf it saves people some money they would otherwise have sent to a psychopathic criminal (psychopath according to a qualified psychiatrist and criminal according to his own description of the countries he has paid vulnerable people for sex) then it’s a good thing that the thread continues to let people know what they are getting into. I am surprised there are still some people who support his behaviour but that’s their choice. At least they can make an informed choice, just as a majority of his patrons have chosen to withdraw their support.

I agree with Slim here. Whilst I think some of the posts have strayed from the subject at hand (with maybe some posts not reflecting well on us 😬) I know the reason that drives the thread at this point is to prevent this grifter from scamming any more money from poor and young/newly awakened JWs.

At least if this thread is visible on Google, they get to make an informed decision if they decide to go ahead and financially support him anyway.

I do understand why others may think otherwise, though….

Interesting this thread has popped up given the recent Montana case with JW lawyer Phillip Brumley being caught and subsequently fined for seriously misleading the court and wasting 17 months of its time.

Not to mention the infamous case of Canadian JW layer David Gnum stating to the Canadian Supreme Court, no less, that shunning does not exist within JW families, that their relationships “remain the same” with the exception of “spiritual matters”.

My god just because someone is created from a stem cell and is effectively a clone, doesn’t make them a “synthetic” person!! This sounds like a revolting way to get around legal definitions of what a human embryo is….and therefore what you can and cannot do with them. How horrific.
