Currency with the various kings, George VI, V etc were in regular use up till the 1970's when new decimal currency was introduced. They will eventually produce new designs of currency to reflect the change, but the old stuff will continue until the end of its natural life.

Yup. They will start to print new stamps but they will need Charles to sit for an effigy, which takes time. Money with the Queen's image will remain legal tender for some time I'd imagine. I remember seeing the odd coin with her father's head on as a kid.
Did you know Charles head will face left though? It's traditional that each succeeding monarch faces the opposite direction to the one prior.

Exactly! It's a bit like the old Dr. Goebbels concept of "The Big Lie"(in fact Hitler never actually used it).

It may be that given the country involved, given the rural area & given the current financial climate, I wouldn't be surprised if Cedars relationship with his lawyers isn't as straightforward as it might be in the west.
Cedars in-laws probably have deep and long standing local connections, too, so it's possible he has what we would view as a very informal agreement with his lawyers. The student also seems to be doing much of the leg work, which may get him a discount (or may be usual, I don't know).. Either way I wouldn't be surprised if things are not quite as kosher as we would expect in the west, despite the firm's qualifications being in order etc and the fact he was followed the countries legal proceedure.
For example the firm may have advised him it's all a waste of time but he's offered them a smaller than usual remittance to say nothing and allow him to 'pretend' his case has legal merit by using their "name", as such.

I agree with the sentiment, raymondfrantz. However women have begun to use it again as we feel that in trying to take the judgement and power out of the word prostitute by using the term 'sex worker' , inevitably hides the terrible realities. It's built on the idea that liberal university's and some on the left claim - that the sex trade is 'empowering' for women as it allows us to have 'agency' over our bodies.
But this is a cruel myth.
The global sex industry is controlled by men for men. It's an industry built on oppression and now people have the cheek to ask women to buy into that oppression.

Your lady may not have been forced to have sex for money with wealthy Europeans on pain of violence or hunger to her or her family.
But I can practically guarantee she is addicted to something - drugs or gambling - came from an abusive childhood, has a violent or addicted boyfriend or family back in Eastern Europe badly in debt or poor. And even if she's in that 0.1% of sex workers who briefly does it with an objective - like college, then gets out - she will certainly pay a real emotional price eventually, whether she's aware of that yet or not.

He had zero compassion or understanding for those victims who work in the seedy and dangerous Thai sex trade. Nor did he even try to understand the exjw victims of CSA who were deeply disappointed in his behaviour and NO he stated he has no intention of stopping! So how can he be sorry? He tried to pressurise his wife into an open marriage for God's sake and when she said no - he stomped back over to Thailand, at new year, just to punish her!

I mentioned on this thread that I thought he was on antidepressants, possibly amitriptyline and I was pretty certain he was taking benzodiazepine's (Valium is one kind).
This was apparent during his "I'm taking a break" video and therefore prior to Kim's first statement! I'm willing to bet he had a problem long before all this, so he has no right to blame Kim. This is yet another disgusting smear.
(It would also explain his injudicious posts in random comment sections).
He has also stated that prior to arriving in Croatia he & Dijana were in deep debt and that it took them quite a few years to pay it off. They both obviously have issues with managing money.
Given they seem to go away on breaks & holidays abroad at least 4 or 5 times a year, I find his claim to be broke as farcical. They just can't prioritise the money they do have properly.

Unfortunately I've no doubt he turns the emotional thumbscrews on a select few, Slim. Many of whom reason that the sheer volume of his output over time allows him more opportunities of reaching believing Jehovahs witnesses. Whether we agree or not, they probably prioritise getting the information out and therefore their own family and friends out, over the moral character of the man whose holding the biggest megaphone.

Even as a believer I'd never have thought that🤣I was always bored witless with the repetition. It's quite obvious you're never going to learn more than the rote 50 or so scriptures they teach....if they did, people would likely wake up. They have to keep you locked inside the school for dummies.
There's not likely to be anything new up their sleeves in terms of Biblical teaching on these courses. If there were the ordinary JW, as the foot soldier who does all the converting, would need to know it the most. This is why (unless you are very new) an elder is never going to have anything for you other than meeting/pray/ministry.....if anyone needs to metaphorically "unlock the keys to the kingdom" it's the regular publisher who makes the converts.
