  Slim Jaracz was appointed to the GB in 1974 and Leo Greenlees was removed in 1984 so the abuse issue in the GB was years after Jaracz’s appointment.

  Ah cheers, wasn't sure what the timeline was there. Rattling around in the back of my brain I seem to recall he was on the GB (relatively) recently for a GB point 0.1....so wow 30 plus years! No wonder he was able to consolidate such power. Although the GB wasn't really the GB when he was appointed, so maybe a 'perfect copybook' wasn't so essential back then?? I also take your point about Spender being asked about Jaracz by other exjws - that is pretty likely.

  i remember him on this site when he was called cedars and had jw survey.. straightaway i noticed he could not accept suggestions.. the time i knew he was dangerous was when his group aawa added people to their fb group without their permission and were outed.. he refused to close the fb page (whilst celebrating 1300 members joining in a few days).

  one member complained and was subsequently disfellowshipped, which could easily have been avoided.. three week's after launching, the fb page was closed down.

  from that moment i knew james lloyd evans was dangerous.. when did you realise he not good?.

  I finally watched Lloyd's Jaracz video - even at twice the speed he was clearly dragging it out in hopes of more super chats.🙄

  Apart from having bugger all Interesting to say the whole video was a real own goal as viewers must wonder why all his colleagues will no longer work with him! He also lets slip that others were doing most of the important work, too!!!

  I could be wrong but I find it hard to believe that a random Australian lawyer, with no connection to Jehovah's witnesses & who appears to specialise in Aboriginal and Torres straight islander representation, would know who Ted Jaracz - a dead American Bethel heavy - was. Remember the way Cedars claimed the question was phrased was to ask if anyone important was on the list. He replied specifically identifying Ted Jaracz, who was not a GB member when he left Australia, as a GB member. So even if there was an incident he would not have been listed as a GB member.

  Also we already know a GB member was disciplined and 'sacked' for molesting a child - so why on earth would the GB place another known molester on the Body?? Knorr wanting an ally on the Body is not a good enough reason imho.

  All aside from my own rambling personal opinions, Lawyers working for the commission - or any court for that matter - absolutely cannot divulge confidential information. Even if this lawyer had done so (very foolishly if he was being recorded) Mark O Donnell could never reveal a source if he wishes to be trusted by anyone ever again. Especially in so delicate a legal area. Yet Cedars has the nerve to talk about 'credibility' in this video???!!😱

  Jan The Church of England there are lots of rolls , paid and volunteer, that require a DBS check . DBS is the Disclosure and Disbarring Service.

  Yes, back when my boys were younger and in the scouts, as a volunteer parent-helpers we had to have a DBS check despite always being supervised by scout leaders or a minister and never alone with the children.

  so my mother passed on 20 aug 23 from the big c. i was there when she went.

  that was indeed very traumatic.

  i won't go to describe it.. dad went 17 years ago so there's just me now.

  Gotta agree Fishy. Mum was a jobot but grandson and son - chief mourners - were not, nor was the chapel of remembrance.

  KimSThe truth about Ted jaracz ….. I did extensive research on jaracz on behalf of lloyd years ago and could find zero evidence to back up any claims. We all know the stories and where there is smoke there is fire……the actions of a deluded desperate man….

  Exactly. No one has been 'keeping quiet' about Ted Jaracz 🙄 Information about him is all over every platform - especially on here and from Barbara Anderson, who knows probably more than anyone alive about him. I tend to think Jaracz was a bully and the primary architect of the policies which result in covering up of abuse and domestic violence etc. There's plenty of evidence of that.

  But as to him grooming a teenager - aside from his suddenly leaving the Australian Bethel (under some kind of cloud?) there's no real 'evidence' that Lloyd would have to 'take to his grave'.🙄

  Pure clickbait.

  I think I can see the 'sensationalist' track Lloyd's taking given the last two videos.🤦🏻‍♀️
