  richard dawkins revealed that he celebrates christmas on radio four's today programme.. here is is quoted as saying: .

  'i am perfectly happy on christmas day to say merry christmas to everybody,' dawkins said.

  'i might sing christmas carols - once i was privileged to be invited to kings college, cambridge, for their christmas carols and loved it.

  St. Athanasius, one of the great fathers and theologians of the Church, tells us: "The Son of God became human so that we might become God." Obviously we do not become God in the way that God is God, but we become God-like, we are divinized.

  Sounds rather Egyptian...?!

  I adore Christmas Carols, Gregorian chants and all high Church music. I regularly attend Kings College Carol services.

  It's part of my culture...

  That's no more hypocritical than a Christian who loves Black Sabbath, AC DC, or Metal in general, is it?

  Nico It doesn't matter that I'm not Christian, I was there for my friend. I would've attended if I'd been Sikh or Hindu too.

  Yes I remember banging saucepans together when my Chinese neighbour died.

  Of course I don't believe I was scaring away ghosts....I joined in as they requested as a show of support for my grieving neighbours

  Furthermore....our Battle of Britain pilots, like my two great uncles, saved our asses in the UK during WW2 (well and Hitler's refusal to press home his advantage at Dunkirk).

  By the way, should it not be obvious to the most green of psychologists, your sgt. Audie Murphy was almost certainly, like many if his kind, someone with the dark triad of developmental disorders....namely psychopathy, narcissism and sociopathy.

  Very useful in war, no doubt. In peace time he likely would have ended up one of your school shooters.

  That is utterly laughable. Try telling that to the 8.7 million Russian combat soldiers (not including the 19 million civilians), by the way.

  Killing doves....what a wonderful way to spend your life.

  That Is one of THE main issues I have against the Bible. That it teaches adherents to place such little value on animal life and arrogantly think, like the foolish MONKEYS they are, that they have the god given right to take animal life at will.

  The Ipsilon Media comp. has now his new adress in Zagreb ...Come on ! the court have his new adress . Unless he said that was his business adress and oops forget to tell the court he also lives there?

  Also as an FYI Ipsilon media - despite Lloyds claims to his patron's and subbies that he's wound it up - appears to be very much still "active". At least as of Dec1st, anyway, and as far as I can find evidence of it's status online.

  Nico. Don't assume doctrine is important to any but a few remaining diehard elderly JW's, it isn't. Everything is up for grabs, there are no sacred cows and nothing matters but the money.

  Make it nice and easy (and dumb) and perhaps the congregations will last and keep contributing.

  I agree with you, Nic......except....if they changed 1914 it would give every Single Pimo, PimQ, and elder-doing-it-for-the-wife-but-too-scared-to-think the exact reason they need to get up and walk out without looking like satan himself and risk loosing his/their families.

  Where is Tony?

  on february 22, 2023, anthony morris iii was officially removed from the governing body of jehovah's witnesses.

  a few months later it was revealed that the watchtower bought him a house in lumberton, north carolina.. however, and correct me if i am wrong, since leaving the gb nobody has reported seeing tony attending jw meetings or participating in field service.

  in fact nobody has reported seeing him anywhere, not even at a local liquor store.

  People have said many times if it were an innocent health reason why wouldn't they announce it? However, as DropoffyourkeyLee pointed out, he would be entitled to veterans benefits. Since we know how appalling tight watchtower is (they've refused to pay Bethelites medical fees before, sending sick ones home to avoid doing so) it's conceivable he left to be treated at a veterans hospital if the treatment looked to be expensive - such as chemo etc.

  It's doubtful they'd announce that outcome!

  I cook with tallow animal fat and would never ever consume margarine that Jehovah recommended fuck your margarine directions Jehovah

  😂Ha ha my old granny always called margarine "axle grease" & I didn't understand why. I found out some years after her death that the WW2 generation, during rationing, had to start eating it, but that prior to that it was literally used to oil the wheels of cars....never used for human consumption!
