i popped into the supermarket for a few things after work today and found myself walking up an aisle alongside a couple who used to be in my tuesday group.

i see them reasonably often and always say hello much to their obvious annoyance.

JW's Approach To Bible Interpretaion

it will come as no surprise to many here that the jw approach to interpreting the bible is greatly flawed.

the reason that it is so flawed is that before anything is examined there are already some false assumptions that are made.

jws believe the following about the bible without evidence:.

Umbertoecco Apparently his phd is in COMPARATIVE religous/cultural studies. He has no qualifications in any of the bibles original languages ie Koine Greek, Hebrew, Aramaic etc and even he states that the 2013 editions insertion of Jehovah in the NT has no merit.

There is of course my find friend the little point that evolution by natural selection is NOT a matter of faith, but loaded down with proof.

Proof of god, unfortunately, IS a matter of faith & any kind of proof has yet to be discovered
