Imitating Jesus with a goatee vs Elders
by brandnew inok.....ya gotta hear this ......pops, who is 80 + , slightly nacisistic, slight case of alzheimers, and a stubborn good ol man.. decided to grow a pretty nice lookin goatee this week..... elders swooped on him so quick, it was crazy....... pops looked like he was diggin the whole show of testosterone being flung in his face , but he stood his ground and smiled.... when the dust settled, and pops had his say..... he replied......"im imitating jesus, and jehovah "....!!!!.
omg...the smile on my face, and the one on my dads was priceless......along with the frowns on theirs... thats all....just wanted to share that..

Brooklyn Layoffs and Halt to Kingdom Hall construction projects
by James Jack ina good source just just told me that at morning worship today that the governing body announced that a total of 1600 bethelites will be let get go and not transferred to warwich when the last property is sold in brooklyn and all kingdom hall building projects are on hold for at least a year so that all the focus will be on the preaching work.

Wow that is infamous - they say that in the end, despite all the logical, rational reasons for making ttatt "your own", it's usually an emotional reaction to something that wakes you up in the end.
Well this obnoxious recording was my emotional reaction, it sickened me to the core that a co religonist of mine could make such a speech with no shame.

I've thought the whole shebang was moving this way for a while.
My reasons: Wtbts fears bancruptcy and has pulled in marketing professionals (in fact professionals generally)who have told them they are wasting their manhours with unsuitable (ie shy etc)folk going d2d when their time/resources could be more profitably spent volunteering in other ways and, of course - big turn here- working & DONATING if you cant do owt else!!
Also, going d2d pubs at risk of meeting folk like US who can easily show them proof that the WT is bs. At the carts (ususally)only interested/mad/desperate folk will approach.
I think the anti cold calling climate does not help either. Just my two penny w'th !
