about 7:30, june 9, 2010, theodore ("ted") jaracz, one of the members of the governing body ruling over jehovah's witnesses, died.
previously, on may 19, 2009, he had had a serious stroke, but recently seemed to have made a big recovery, giving some assembly talks.
If they can prove that Ted Jaracz was removed from the Australian Bethel due to molestation, it will be dynamite.
His legacy lives on and if that legacy was instituted by a known abuser the Governing Body will have nowhere to hide.

i would assume they do not build social security or medicare.
Unless your relatives have highly sort after skills it is extremely unlikely they have been taken on as full-time Bethelites in other words signed the ‘vow of poverty’ and “Special order of full time serpents” with the small monthly stipend ( they sign this as a crafty get-out for Watchtower not to have to make the social security contributions all other employers have to).
Watchtower recently kicked out thousands of Bethelites all over the world and are too cash strapped to take on more. They do, however, take on temporary Bethelites who do full time work without even the tiny monthly stipend they used to get. These people have to provide their own accommodations and finance themselves entirely for the whole time. Additionally Watchtower does not help with medical expenses, which at least full time Bethelites used to be provided with ( unless of course the actually became ill in which case they were kicked out ).
Either way unless they have very wealthy relatives or plenty of their own investments and/or property they’re not too stupid to sell and donate to Watchtower they’ll most likely end up poor, worn-out and disillusioned.

Talk about lost in translation! I mean I'm sure they made perfect sense to the original authors, and they've probably been changed over the years in an attempt to make them make sense in the new language/culture.
Which is why the watchtower would do better to listen to the experts in the original langues and the descendents of the original culture instead of thinking they know better than anyone else!

i've had very little to do with jw's since the early 1990's.
however, i do try to stay a little informed on what they are up to as i have several close relatives who are devout.
i rely on this site to keep me updated.. over the weekend i learned that a couple of my relatives, a father and son, have decided that they are anointed and had some bread and wine at the last memorial.
Waton WT says Jws are "true Christians" that means translated tue anointed ones.so: all should be in communion by partaking with Christ the anointed. In John 6 "Jesus " said to get everlasting life you have to partake,
How do jws expect to get everlasting life if they do not partake?
Regardless of Watchtower doctrine (and I believe they have stated the 35 cut off was incorrect - otherwise none of the currant GB could be anointed). Also, unless there is sinning in heaven, how can there be any replacements for those who fall away since most (If not all) are dead?
Yes I think there are more anointed as JWs are becoming anxious about their religion and Jesus saying unless you "drink and eat" you have no life in you. I think they feel wrong rejecting the bread and wine on Memorial day.
yesterday my congregation met for field service and the elder taking the lead did something not so smart: he brought up the child abuse situation and the recent news articles hitting local news across the country.
he said 'you can see that the persecution is really coming' and that we should be ready if someone complains about it at the door.
(funny how it's persecution when it's us and righteous judgment when it happens to the other churches.
Do you think the Elders have been primed to warn the congregation like that, though? Makes you wonder......
