I bet someone will be for the high jump when they twig it, nonetheless. Even if it is an old photo/video, the publication is recent so they should have updated. -

Watchtower caught lying about the real reason Beth Sarim was built
by Diogenesister inanother incredible catch from a you tuber, this time jane doh, who caught watchtower fooling us again, this time over the reasons beth sarim was really built.. of course we knew rutherford lived in beth sarim during the winter (ostensibly because of his poorly chestš).
however even we didn't guess he blatantly got the poor jws, or bible students as they were, to cough up from the proceeds of their book sales enough to buy him a "cali-fornication" mansion (for he & the girlfriendš) with absolutely no pretence (at the time) it was for the "ancient worthies".that came later.... how did she know?
because at the time it was built, in the 1920s, watchtower had no belief that anyone was to live on a "paradise earth" - they had not even formulated the concept of a paradise earth yet for the ancient worthies to live on and believed all jws were to live in heaven.

In fact It wasn't until 1931 that they came up with a Paradise Earth at all! Jane Doe caught this little nugget and she further explains that it was in the 1939 book Salvation that they first used the excuse of the "Ancient Worthies" resurrection to paradise earth as the actual reason they built Beth Sarim. Completely contradicting earlier statements and forgetting they didn't have a paradise earth belief when they built it.
This from Watchtower (paraphrased) : In 1939 the book "Salvation" stated "Concerning Beth Sarim or "house of princes" the purpose of building it was that there might be tangible proof to the world that there were people on earth at this time with faith that the Lord will raise the faithful men of old to rule as princes over the earth."

This Discussion Board
by minimus inwhen you look back the last 20 years , what a transformation!
back then witnesses were putting out poetry and most were singing the praises of the organization.
slowly and gradually, negative thoughts were allowed to be expressed about doctrines, elders and congregation life.

You know, I definitely had questions when I first came here. I was starting to doubt. But I still had faith Watchtower was essentially good and the only real hope for mankind. Then I heard about the ARC on here......
What kept me coming back??? The humour! You lot were so damn funny!
Iād never met such funny JWs before and I knew there was something different about the people on here....I felt enormous kinship such as Iād never really felt before.
edit Terry did you draw that? If so I really like it. Iām really into woodcut prints and it kind of reminds me of those.

Daily text 15.4.21 Unbelievable hypocrisy. Don't be the master of another's faith
by Diogenesister inyoutuber "king of fader's" caught this unbelievable piece of cant from watchtower in thursday's life and ministry 'daily text'.. (based on 2 corinthians 1:24 " not that we lord it over your faith").

someone who makes needless rules is not protecting his brothers safety - he is trying to become the master of his brothers faith.

Yes, but that is just the sort of ammunition I used to use to defend myself when I was not doing everything "the society's way"
Its a valuable quote.
Good point BB. King of Faders came up with something else recently that I really wish Iād thought of. He said Watchtower claims the early JWs and Bible students saw things wrong with Christendom's churches and because they were righteous people they left them, because they saw these faults must mean it was āfalse worshipā.
Yet when he points out the faults with Watchtower his JWs donāt deny it, but say they must āwait on Jehovahā to fix it.š¤š¤
So why didnāt the Bible students just āwait on Jehovahā to fix Christendom's faults?? Whatās good for the goose etc etc šš¼šš¼šš¼šš»

Another bad faith video
by DATA-DOG injust sharing this for all the people who hated me saying it.
funny how truth finally comes out if those of us who care enough to become lightning rods donāt let up.
itās taken a year, but the left wing ( not the same as a traditional liberal ) nut-job bs is becoming quite evident, and this will continue across multiple subjects as time passes.

PP There were tons of idiots that kept berating all my workers because we kept on working all last year and none of my workers got the vaccine. We are all plumbers working out in the sun and wind and we were in the middle of hospitals, senior hospitals, unclogging showers and toilets.
Well anyone who doesnāt think that plumbers are essential workers is an idiot.
Maybe next time they (probably donāt)š wash their hands after using the loo theyād like to think about what it would be like if nurses, doctors, nursing home chefs etc werenāt able to to do the same...how fast disease would spread if we couldnāt access water for the scores of reasons we do. Doesnāt bare thinking about.
We may disagree about the threat COVID poses but I for one thank you very much for the essential service you provided at risk to yourself (and as a 53 year old, non-obese woman (with arthritis) I can tell you Iāve never been so ill in my life as I was with COVID*. Having said that I do appreciate for those in their 40s, 30s, 20s etc the risk is negligible & my 15 yr old kids basically didnāt even notice they had it).
*and before anyone thinks Iām just a wimp Iāve given birth naturally, without any pain relief to a breech baby and twins (not at the same time, mindš¤£). In fact Iāve got a bit of a reputation as a hard bas***d š¤£My friends used to say Iāll be one of these old ladies whoāll be walking around on a broken hip for weeks when Iām old!

I enjoy engaging with JWs if they are genuinely willing to engage. Unfortunately many of them are āhit and runāposters, as Ding said.
However, you never know who is watching and as Blues Bro and JW facts mentioned, responding to them is a great way of showing how easy it is to dismantle their positions with logic & reason. Many people have woken up over the years having read threads on here - even if they are only lurking.

Hybridous Are they really this daft?
Or are they mocking JWs to their very faces, as part of the scam?
Things like this text really do make me wonder....
Or, perhaps we have a PIMO writer on the Daily Text team. Given the number of leaks, it truly wouldn't surprise me!

Derek Chauvin - The Right to a Fair Trial
by Simon inanyone following the derek chauvin trial?.
if you are actually following it, not just listening to the media, you will likely realize that there is a huge gap between what is going on in court and what is being reported in the media.. if the trial was fair, i think he should be acquitted.
there is plenty of reasonable doubt about the cause of death (his dealer doesn't want to testify because he could be guilty of 3rd degree murder for selling him a fatal amount of fentanyl) and even doubt over whether the officer even had his knee on the guys neck or did anything counter to what they were meant to do as per policy.. but is it fair?

police officer friend tells me that driving overly-cautiously is a good sign the driver is intoxicated. Most officers, he says, would stop the driver to check. It's also a sign that a wellness check is needed. This sounds reasonable to me.
Yes I knew a cop retired guy that trained met officers in advanced driving skills etc long time officer said absolutely over cautious driving is a dead giveaway...but he means really over cautious, like doing 55 on a motorway etc.
It Depends where youāre driving, though, on a motorway or dual carriageway any competent driver should be doing exactly on the speed limit to drive safely but in a residential area driving cautiously at 20 or 30 mph depending is the decent thing to do. Itās actually illegal in London now in many places to drive over 20.
