Justaguy Well the way that tight pants thing went down it made sense that he got through. He didnt call the switch board, he called a bethelite who transferred him to tony. Having been a bethelite i can tell you thats 100% doable.

He did however waste the opportunity, as i would expect from a childish oaf like him. He has no real point, no real gripes, he just grifts off others ideas.

I've also heard this wild double agent claim made around the fact he got into a Bethel tour - despite a beard, no tie etc.

Like the above scenario, that also made complete sense. Lloyd & family were attending with a local Bible student who was well known to Warwick as a social historian of the movement. He had also rang ahead to book the tour - mentioning they were interested in the seeing the new "Bible history" display. The Watchtower was very proud of and was currently promoting as the best thing since...well...the Bible.

Jay's made at least three claims of racism in the last couple days toward those who've criticised Lloyd.

He went off on Johnathan again, for a post addressed generally, which said "before anyone with poor reading comprehension skills says ABC". Jay feigning shock he should refer (he didn't)to a person of colour as having poor reading comprehension skills. He claimed that was racist.

It may have been one of his "jokes".....it's hard to know with Jay.

But talking of cyber bullying - (which Lloyd and Jay are) - so far as I know, Johnathan's posts are the only ones that have been taken down due to attacks from online "critics".

Sorry @EXJWcomedianjay is an ex JW who is incredibly cynically calling people who are calling out Lloyd racist on twitter at every opportunity he gets. It's really sickening. He goes on Lloyds channel as his diversity and inclusion tickbox.

I know, I know I shouldn't say it but I'm just so pissed with him being so downright cynical....

SBF It’s ironic that, just as Lloyd was digging a hole for himself, they could have thrown him a lifeline of sorts, as he will surely focus exclusively on false allegations, if they are false, in order to distract everyone from the things he admitted in his livestream.

Which exactly what he did in his posts following Kim's first interview. Despite admitting nearly everything on his livestream, he posted she had made 'false accusations'.

The 'false accusations' he was probably refering to were that we would be shocked if we knew how many activists he has driven off*. So he will divert, instead of focusing on what most of us are really concerned about, being:

That a man who advocates for women and girls who are victims of rape and abuse can fail to see how they'd feel about their donations going to fuel the most exploitative criminal 'industry' in the world, to wit trafficked young girls in Thailand.

That same man claims he cannot control his penis.

His complete disregard of his wife's feelings and victim blaming.

* We know that's true but at this stage I really wish some of these people would come forward, write a letter to the community and sign it. I was really taken with what Lee Elder said about the message being more important than the person.

In years to come 2 hour commentaries on July's JW Broadcast is not what's going to open people's eyes. It will be the original research done by JWfacts, Ray Franz, Carl Olaf jonsson, Bonnie Ziemann, AJWRB, Heather/Gary Botting, Alan Feuerbacher, Jim Penton SMMcroberts, The Guardian and so many other researchers including many people on this very site over the years.

That's what made Kim snap. He was pretending to his patrons he was having some kind of mental breakdown*.... When really he was pissed because his wife had caught him cheating and given him an ultimatum.

Someone who was having a genuine breakdown/depression/suicidal ideation was being further triggered by Evan's tweets, believing him to be suffering in the same way.

When Kim tried to ask Lloyd to be careful what he posted in case it pushed this young man over the edge, Lloyd reacted in a self centred, petulant way. Unable to see for once it wasn't just about him. Ranting about his "rights" to tweet.

*(He used the the catch all term "mental health". Like the controversial word 'woman' when something means everything, it ends up meaning nothing.)

SBF Because it leaves open the window of hope that some parents won’t take a hard line, and if they do take a hard line it calls into question whether their actions come down to Watchtower loyalty or lack of parental love.

Yes, this causes so much pain and resentment.

Strictly speaking she's not wrong though, at least back then. Parents that converted in the 70s will have done so on the understanding that you weren't required to shun family, so even without his wealth she may have maintained contact.

There's so much inequality though: A wealthy child who financially supports their parents will be made an exception, due to the "essential family business" get out clause.

But most of all, being a woman, there's no chance of her having to give up privileges due to contact with a child. It's conceivable a pioneer may be called to account for it - but in my experience if it's a long time pioneer who does the congs heavy lifting in terms of hours, that's unlikely.

The one person that might have made sense to sue was Kim Silvio, but he blew that up by making a video where he corroborated her claims.

Remember she had a witness. Producer Bob' was there too and heard his admission (which is kinda creepy since he'd never met her before)
