I support one called "Face Value"

It's based in Great Ormond Street Hospital for sick children and they do research into facial deformities in kids. The surgeon Mr. Dunnaway goes all around the developing world operating on kids who can't afford it. It he didn't their lives would be hell because their superstitious cultures believe they have been cursed by the devil etc. In fact many don't make it to childhood even if well enough because they are killed at birth. He operated on my son at 18 months old & whose life was changed forever, for the better, because he had craniosynostosis.

The others are Pancreatic Cancer UK and Alzheimer's society.

I used to support Scouting/Guiding before they allowed male bodied people who identify as women to share bedrooms overnight and bathrooms with little girls....and sacked two long standing women guide leaders for speaking out.

I'm not sure this was mentioned but Cappytan has made some effort to try and work out whether the claims by this Marko and some of it that was published by Kim and Mike had any basis in truth or not.

Well thank goodness someone has.

If this person is real it must be obvious Lloyd and Dijana know who it is. If he's not on social media, saying which cousin it is will have no effect on this person. None of you stated they know who he is. In fact Kim B, I believe, said she didn't know. Why not? How can you put this on social media if you're getting statements and you have NO idea who this person is (or at least a close friend does, so say if Joel knows him, for instance. At least someone in other words)

If anyone does know, why haven't they come forward to say "I know who it is. Their name, address, family connections (so how they are related which side of the family) - eg Marko is the husband of her mother's sisters eldest daughter, etc. Yet no one has done this. You've put screenshots of a conversation and you have no idea where they come from.

sometime in late 2014 or early 2015, a video of tony morris giving a talk about giving one's all was released by the borg.

he was belittling those who had one excuse or another for doing less than (he thought) they should.

he mocked those who relied on the thought that "jehovah knows my circumstances and he doesn't think any less of me" or some such.

Was it the same speech he gave in (I think Italy?) Where he was talking about tight trousers? I think the person to ask about it is either Atlantis or Kim Brookes. They would know.

I recently cited that statement to a die-hard JW and was immediately challenged to prove it.

I also remember it! Funny sometimes I get the feeling exjws know more about their religion than current members.🤔

Pete No books to place in ministry , the rush to get all on line and use tablets and smartphones etc for ministry and meetings ,and the cherry on the cake the grand media centres to produce movies to broadcast on line .in fact bro Morris said at the AGM that route calls are a waste of time .

It makes me wonder if they've seen the success of Netflix etc and they're intending to turn themselves into a religious streaming service. Then it will be "we produced millions of simplified tracts in millions of languages....but now we can reach even more people .,..maybe who can't read at all" !!

Not at all realising that other religious groups have already made films that reached a billion people "The Life of Jesus"....and that for free! Something Watchtower will certainly not do🤔

I didn't watch but someone mentioned he was talking about how his most important "work" is continuing the fight on sexual abuse in the Watchtower.

I think that's an intentionally provocative statement, if made. It's obviously sticking two fingers up at the people who have voiced their concerns over someone with his attitude advocating for survivors, including survivors themselves.

I think people may have seen that as an insensitive insult and that's why they withdrew their support.

I refused to watch it.

But I was disappointed to see Myth Vision podcast's Derek greasing up to him in the comments section.

It's only and always about the money for both of them. Always has been always will be...he has no choice but to soldier on.

As to reaching out to other Hack-tivists - it will only ever be if they're useful to him. All his 'friends' are people he needs for something....that's why they both had to "confess" their issues to some poor sod who barely knows them - that alone rang massive alarm bells for me.
