Oh come on Lloyd! Everyone knows YOU are the company & you take whatever you want (17% increase last year).

The only real overhead you really have is Tibor's wages and insurance for your equipment (wait ....didn't you raise money for a lost piece of equipment a while back? Isn't that a Watchtower scam where you get others to replace/fix stuff after a "disaster" and then pocket the insurance pay out?)

As I mentioned before, you're even provided with a free pad courtesy of your JW in-laws (and "need greater" JWs who basically did a 'kingdom hall build' for you to house your donated watchtower books in).

Another thought is to have a big you tube "party" for exjw posters online to discuss Norway, the reaction to the shooting etc and (well) so many recent topics but advertised well in advance so plenty of folks can watch (and Barb Anderson isn't well by the way everyone I think a get well video is in order maybe?). Anyway perhaps during that it could be mentioned that Lloyd really doesn't need that money and is fleecing the community (& always has).

Edit: sorry I meant to say have a live call in Rick Fearon style because those are so good for new leavers & folks that need to get stuff off of their chest. Maybe someone (me!) Will call in to talk about this?!!

I'll post on Reddit a thread topic that will link this thread about vulnerable, low income JWs being taken advantage of by exjws. I'm willing to bet if no names are mentioned they won't take it down. I'm not sure you can still post on the Lloyd mega threads and anyway it wouldn't be seen by new leavers and non proficient English speakers, who probably just check out the top threads anyway.

If the post is written in a generalised way but with some specific examples relating to Lloyd it may just fly.

I just want to get the financials straight first. I need a link to his company tax return for last year (the €8,200 thing), his earnings for 2022, his earnings for 2021 and maybe a link to the average Croation wage? If I don't use his name but give these as "examples" of the sort of income "top" exjw you tubers earn maybe the post will stay up? I know Reddit mods don't like "intrigue" as they term it, but for heaven's sakes surely they can see how vulnerable young and impoverished cult leavers are wide open to being taken advantage of like this. His income even now is more than enough to live comfortably in Croatia, especially when you're not even having to pay rent, or a mortgage, if you don't want to.

I'm sorry I don't. All I know is that I remember seeing since 2016 because it stood out to me so much. I wouldn't have taken note to it prior to that because I was still a believing JW (though inactive for a few years).
I'll keep looking.

Just want to add this link to a post from a distraught mother on here whose JW father is trying to stop the child seeing her (non JW Christian mother).

I think what got to me is the mother saying in another post how the child smiles at her when her father isn't looking. Attempting to isolate the child from her own mother. This is so abusive. The court had to intervene to ensure he stops this behaviour (but of course he didn't )

some people had a penchant for posting their topics directly into the "best of topics" area.

it seemed more than a little arrogant to me that some imagined their every utterance was immediately a greatest hit but maybe people weren't clear on what that area was intended for .... from now on you won't be able to start new topics there.

if anyone wants to submit a topic to be added there (perhaps an index to a curated list of other topics by a user or on a certain subject / theme) then just start one in "suggestions" and pm me and, if it is suitable, then i'll move it into there.. existing topics posted there recently have been moved to more appropriate areas..

That's quite a lot I doubt most will be paying that. On the other hand he'll have one or two who donate a lot (like the person who donated £1000 when he said he was skint last time).

Most of these people won't be well off and will have to stop at some point. There's probably a lot whose first language isn't English and have no idea about this and/or the atheist community. He's a scumbag of the highest order. But it can't last forever.

Fighting a loosing battle.

More creators are coming along, better creators are coming along and he no longer gets his "leeks," nor will decent people (when they find out) work with him.

He'll get a few more patrons. Sure. But if he keeps begging every few months people will cotton on to him. Eventually. God it's so like the Borg it's unreal! I used to think people were being extra when they compared his technique with the Borg but... jeese Louise....he can't bloody help himself, can he?!!!
