I will wait for a PM as you said. I am still very cautious of you - it seems you know a lot more about me than I you which it tremendously unfair. Make sure you tell me who I am in your PM and please don't make me wait for a few days. Being as you say you know me, it might also be nice of you to tell me your name and some of the others in the 'movement' - being as we apparently want the same thing it can't hurt at all.
And as for me wanting no JWs in Cyprus that just isn't true - that would never happen anyway. You could perhaps ban them but that is different from deporting them all.

Contributing to Defence Tax
by God_Delusion inin cyprus, everyone who earns a legitimate salary, pays 2% of their weekly/monthly salary to the republic of cyprus' defence fund.
this fund provides the mod (ministry of defence) the funds to purchase their arsenal and fund all and sundry in relation to the republic's armed forces.. shouldn't jehovah's witnesses put their foot down and say that they won't pay this tax?
i don't think it's physically possible to not pay this tax and as far as i know, that's the reason they give for paying it.. thing is, why do they always portray other religions of the world blessing the soldiers before going into battle?

So let's say wages are 1500 Euro a month - that is a reasonable average for someone here in my experience. Even those who earn more will help make my point anyway. What's 2 % of that? 30 Euro's if I worked it out in my head okay. Math isn't my strong subject. How many JWs do you think donate 30 euro a month into the contribution box? HARDLY ANY which means that the vast majority of witnesses pay more for the Cyprus Defence Fund than they do to the all-important to-die-for worldwide work!!!!!

Also I didn't ask his/her name - I just wanted more general information, and I wasn't the only one. There are only about 2000 JWs on the entire island and I know enough faders to know there isn't a 'movement'. Maybe he is sincere but simply exaggerates. Please don't think I am being argumentative. I don't want to make problems. It seems to you I am, so I shall back down. I'm really not a bad person. I'll look out for the four winged whatjamacallit at the assembly.

Wow... Did you not read any of my last post!?! Isn't that basically what I just said - that if he is sincere then I don't have a problem?! I also explained why I am not unreasonablke to doubt, but didn't make any final conclusions! I don't have a problem with anyone on this forum, nor do I want to. I just don't want myself or my friends who are fading to be exposed and hence lose our families. That's not something to 'lighten up' over. Its hard to tell a tone from written words but trust me I have no anger or malice - I am just being cautious.
