Fernando: The scripture in Matthew 24:34 has been always understood as to be refering to the end times. as having an eschatological application.

"The Truth Changes" with the text from the "Simplified" Edition WT
by Doug Mason inthe text i used in my analysis, "the truth changes: watchtower july 15, 2013" comes from the "study" edition of that magazine.. it is still available at: http://www.jwstudies.com/the_truth_changes.pdf.
i have now used the text from the "simplified" edition, and it is available at:.

Doug, according to the current understanding, there is a Kingdom government, but it's operating only in heaven, under the rulership of Christ Jesus. The anointed are yet to be rewarded with their heavenly authority as kings and priests at around Armageddon, the sole role of the FDS a.k.a. GB being taking the lead and overseeing the operations of the organization. Neither in the previous understanding hasn't been claimed that the anointed had been given Kingdom authority. At least that's how I see it.

For as long I remember, Our Kingdom Ministry has been printed in two colors (black + something). When they introduced the latest layout change (in 2009 -- when they switched from Helvetica + Ionic to ITC Stone) the second color was a precomposed ink that matched the cover of the study edition of The Watchtower. Because precomposed inks are more expensive than the basic cyan, magenta, yellow and black inks, they returned to alternating cyan and magenta as the second color (as yellow is per se not very visible). The same thing is being done with convention and assembly programs, but those are designed to be printed in one color (e.g. the district convention program: last year's PDFs on jw.org were all black, this year's are black, cyan or magenta, depending on the language, but eventually all will be printed in the color chosen for programs and badges).

by Caminante inthere was a piece of boe material---and i'm not refering to latest watchtower publications list (s-15)---where there was a list of all language updates to the watchtower magazine effective 2013 and other new publication announcements.
i remember reading it somewhere (it must have been obviously on this forum), but apparently i can't find it on my computer.
does anyone of you recall that specific piece of info?

Irondork: the translation presented in the Proclaimers book is 100% accurate. You can find the facsimile of the original under a Wikipedia link I posted on the first page.

I, _____ , born on ______ in ______ declare the following:
1. I recognized that the International Bible Students Association spreads out erroneous teachings, and pursues anti-state goals under the cloak of its religious activity
2. For this reason I disassociated myself fully and completely of this organization and I also released myself psychologically off this cult.
3. Thus I guarantee that I will never ever activate for the IBSA. I will denounce any person who approaches me with the heresies of the Bibelforscher or by any means let me know they are Bibelforscher. I will submit to the nearest police station any piece of Bibelforscher literature sent to me.
4. I will henceforth obey the laws of the state, especially in case of wars I will defend my motherland with the weapon in hand and I will submit myself in the ranks of the people's association.
5. I have been informed that I will face arrest again if I revoke today's declaration.

So there was literally nothing about Jehovah involved there. It involved resignation from being committed to the teachings of the Watch Tower Society.
