JW congregations are not Christian, just cultic. The Bible does teach that the Holy Spirit indwells believers. Fellowship is important, but not a condition for relationship with God. The NWT distorts verses about the Holy Spirit and Jesus. Maze is spouting WT stuff that is not biblical. iRobot.

I've Decided That It'll Be Best For Me To Return To The Kingdom Hall.
by Philadelphia Ponos inafter carefully evaluating the my current life situation, i've come to the conclusion that returning to the hall will be best for me.
i simply just don't fit in with the rest of the world.
i don't drink, smoke, have sex, go to clubs, listen to worldly music, watch movies, or gamble.

After leaving the JW's, why would anybody seek another religion
by Star tiger inafter such a traumatic experience in the jehovah's witness religion and reasoning on all other versions of religion, why do so many just jump ship into another religion offering the world but still delivering nothing!.
appreciate your comments,.

Trading the WT cult for a love relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ is not poison for poison. Leaving WT to become a Mormon would be poison for poison.

Jesus did agree with some things like resurrection, divorce, etc. The Pharisees were not wrong about everything. Jesus and the Pharisees clashed because Jesus taught many more things that they disagreed with. Your views do not fit NT evidence. Pharisees would not oppose Jesus if he was just borrowing their ideas. He taught as one with authority and people knew His teaching was vastly different than the Pharisees. Why do non-Christians always think they are experts on Christianity? Your liberal ideas are lame.

Could Christians please respond; Is there a penalty for rejecting Jesus?
by nicolaou in.
hell is pretty much out of vogue these days so if this rabid atheist decidedly turns his back on god and/or christ what will become of me?.

Trees growing, plates moving, etc. are part of creation, not the cause of it. Something does not come from nothing. God is the uncreated First Cause/Creator. Microevolution is adaptation, but there is no evidence for macroevolution.

I am not part of a cult like Mormons/JWs. I have a relationship with God through Christ. I am calling you to relationship with God (something JWs do not have), not to a group...big difference.

The statements of Jesus did not phase the Pharisees either. Your point? The problem is with the JW heart and mind, not the Truth.

Why would one go back to a suicide cult that puts your life on the line over blood? Why would one go back to a God-dishonoring group that puts your eternity on the line?

Freedom from cult is only true freedom if one moves to freedom in the true Christ. Careful not to reject God while rejecting a false organization.

What say you Christians ???
by wobble init seems to me that most, if not all christians are really hung up on sin and redemption from sin and how naturally evil we all are.. my question, and observation is this : i had nothing to do with whatever you say adam and eve did wrong, i have always, throughout my life, treated whoever i came into contact with compassion, respect and love.. i have lived by the golden rule.. not many people, hand on heart, can say that, i can.. so, is your god going to judge me for the "sin" of some mythical forebears of mine ?
is he going to say that , because i did not believe in him, i willl be judged adversely, even though i lived by the precepts he is supposed to support ?.
all i can say is, if your god is like that, i refuse to worship or acknowledge him.. and i certainly do not want to get to know him.

Designs: biblical Christianity is true. Flying Spag. Monster is myth.
Prodigal: Leaving WT for New Age is still darkness, demonic deception. You are now even less orthodox than before. Good one.

One will go to hell for rejecting the Creator God revealed in Christ, not for rejecting creation scientism. There are godly Christians who believe the bad science/theology of theistic evolution (closer to JW view).
