  How to respond to "Whoelse is preaching the good news worldwide?"

  this scripture stands out to me...... 1 cor 1:17-21 for christ dispatched me, not to go baptizing, but to go declaring the good news, not with wisdom of speech, that the torture stake of the christ should not be made useless.. 18 for the speech about the torture stake is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is gods power.

  19 for it is written: i will make the wisdom of the wise [men] perish, and the intelligence of the intellectual [men] i will shove aside.

  20 where is the wise man?

  Sabastious - it's FAR worse and more subtle then that! I'm gonna do an extensive report when I get a chance! They are this year, trying real hard to get people locked down and controlled into the GB. Once people KNOW the method, then the system breaks! I have some family on heightened senses right now.

  there are no pre 1950's wt in there anymore.

  i saw that book there though, wondering if once an elder realizes it, will it be trashed or not?

  I can't find it, but where was the announcement, unless it was a letter not published, but just read, that along the lines of what Blondie posted, keeping the WT library up to date and not cluttered to remove WT volumes earlier then 1950?

  I'd be surprised if any of you would find a hall with ones pre 1950.

  The most important ones though will be the real eye openings, thy kingdom come, harp, etc. Anything talking bout pyramids and 1874 date.

  The generation WT announcements would be good too.

  1950 and prior, we have the watchtower library.

  so save your cd's, that's authentic evidence for the future.

  I mention this in a diff thread for a reason of a question I asked, but feel it's important for all to see and know. 1950 and prior, we have the watchtower library. So SAVE your CD's, that's authentic evidence for the future. What is NOT on the CD, even though we have scanned copies, when the day comes when because of the computer and internet, most if not all old WT books are gone, then it will be all to easy for claims to be made the 'apostates' are showing photoshooped or edited scans. It's been almost 130 years since 1874, very few older books left.

  Let's not let history be erased, especially when people are being misled. If you have any older books/magazines, put them in a box and away. Make sure if you ever give them away, it's to someone who knows the importance of preserving them, and will do the same.

  Outside of JW/WT, you can see with everything in general, how history can become rumor/legend after 100+ years, when authentic originals are gone.

  I DO know that all pre 1950's WT just as in the WT library were told to be trashed. I'm gonna see if I can find that in a KM announcement.....

  The 'REASON' for my thinking of taking it, is because I've noticed how almost all books are being done away with, as we have the computer / internet age. If they elders are under orders to trash it, along w/ pre 1950's WT, this is ERASING HISTORY. The reason so much controversy with the bible is the lack of written record. We all know people were burned to the stake w/ bibles.

  I don't NEED a copy. I see in the future, people may say these scanned / internet copies are photoshopped and fake. So it's important for us to PRESERVE the originals. I have no use for another book to collect dust, it's only to make sure it doesn't get destroyed. I have no intention of selling, or using for personal reasons.

  I guess I'll just ebay one one of these days, since nobody can confirm the book will be trashed if an elder knows its there.

  If it won't be trashed if known I def won't, just wanna save it if it's gonna be destroyed or if elders had been given instructions to trash them.
