  Are the horrendous killings in Paris part of a religious practice?

  islam is a religion of war, not a religion of peace .

  seems there are many religions who do not tolerate other groups.

  this statement "islam is a religion of war, not a religion of peace" reminded me of what was said at a watchtower convention in 2013 ....using a chilling example of how they condone dis fellowshipping & the soul killing practice of shunning!

  I'd be surprised 100% if the Borg DOES NOT publish a WT study about these Paris terrorist attacks tied-in with religion and Babylon the Great.

  No, they want to be as broad as possible since they have a 100% failure rate on predictions and interpretations. They don't want it kicking them years later. They'll just word things that Lett will understand. "Things are bad, people are dying, the end is SOOO close! Anyday now!! We now have credit card swipers at the donation boxes, run up your credit for the faithful slave, the end is so close you'll never need to pay it back!!"

  so ofs got to comment again this morning and thought the comment might bring a smile to someone.the second half question on par.

  15 was, "we cannot actually see jesus, sohow can we look intently at him?".

  If I win the lottery

  i haven't yet won the state lottery but i purchased a lottery ticket last night.

  if i win the lottery, it's $150 million.. if i win, my name is publicly announced and of course my picture gets into the news.

  i will probably get df'ed.. however, will the wtbts accept a hefty "donation' from my 'lucky' winnings?

  I won 10 million after taxes I receive 7 million

  If you win 10 million then you'll get 1/2 if take it upfront. So 5 mill, then after taxes at highest rate you probably have 3 mill. So enjoy your 3 mill from your 10 mill winning :)

  firstly, there are cash flow problems in wt town.

  i don't think it's necessary to list all the cutbacks and layoffs, but there have been many.. their thirst for money seems higher too in my opinion.

  more entitled may be a better way of putting it.

  What's really funny is even though they are struggling for money, they continue to demonize higher education.

  I'm sure they'll really start to talk down upon any sort of vacation and other activity that might take away from their potential donation money since they know all who listen to their advice can barely if not pay their bills already.

  NEW LIGHT will soon come out. "Evidently the word "tithe" has been in the bible all along! Please open your silver swords and read the passage with us. See that!! It says it right there, 'tithe', you can't make that stuff up! Aren't we appreciate of the new light from the faithful slave, the GB, in opening our eyes that we should be giving them 10% of our earnings so the ticket to the new world is paid for as long as we also keep our time and meeting attendance up and make sure to pucker up to the faithful slaves heiney?"

  Are baptisms under the age of 18 valid? Can one baptised/dedicated prior actually be dfed according to law?

  i wonder if for all of those who were baptized prior to the age of 18, if the wt/elders could be forced on our insistence that our dedication/baptism as a minor was made without proper mental capacity and that it be declared invalid, henceforth having never been baptized then family,etc, would be free in wt's eyes to treat as any non-jw vs shunning as an ex-jw.

  fulltime - what you just posted would match with Jeremiah I think it was around chap 58 when he condemns them for worshipping the 'queen of the heavens' and making cakes and sacrifices for her, yet they reply that if they stop then bad things happen.
