I read about Stephen Hawkings discussing copying our brain and into a robot to live forever. But lets say that happened right now, your brain was copied and put into a robot. Wouldn't your consciousness still be in this physical body and this robot would be as much of you as a twin or look alike, maybe even have every memory, but when you sleep at night or die, something looking like you might still be around but it still wouldn't be 'you'. Your consciousness would be dead.
The same concept with the 6th day. Even though it appeared by cloning those people were brought back to life, they really were not. It was a new life with copied memories. The life that died was dead.
If you died, but your brain was preserved and many years later implanted or reactivated, would it be you? What if information on the brain was moved to another, would you wake up or would it be a new life thinking it was you?
Curious on the thoughts of those on this forum.

Witnesses killed my friend today.
by WasOnceBlind intoday has been a horrible day.
what began as a day of joy finding out that one of my lifelong friends had her baby, turned into a nightmare when her brother called me to let me know she had passed away after birth.
i was in shock and didn't ask how.

And every WT policy or claim that had a date to it failed. Resurrected princes, the many end dates, the generations, and the constant changing of things that they can't actually verify. But with a 100% failure rate on things they had a date or timeline to, you'd think other JW's would think, "They are probably wrong on the blood doctrine too, no way in hell I'm I or any of my family dying for their interpretation". -

So dumb. Jesus set the tone on rules, anything out of love trumped any law/rule, when he healed on Sabbath. So leave a baby motherless and for a messed up life that Jesus wouldn't have done. -

Such a flawed concept. Even though what is taught in 1910, 1950, 1990, 2000, 2015 are all completely different they are all part of 'the truth'. Today what is 'the truth' is tomorrows apostate teachings.
