Why ex-JW's so knowledgeable when it comes to the Bible?
by James Mixon inover the years here on this site i have found over half of the folks can hold their own with any minister.. why when we leave the borg we become proficient on any subject on the bible.. why did we go down that road?
my intention was to get close to jehovah (searching the bible), but i. guess i found lucifer.
i'am ask all the time, how did you go from a true believer to calling the bible a book.

Because the borg had convinced us it was 'the truth' and that there WAS an absolutely identifiable 'truth'. While in the borg all research is filtered through the borgs materials. Independent research and throughts, especially if contradictory are said to be satan's influence so it's ignored and not done. Once finding out the borg is full of it, then many may really grind the bible to find 'the truth'. Either confirming or debunking the most major religious teachings tied to it.
On another topic someone mention, JW's turn out more atheist than any other religion.Why?
Because of embedding the absolute truth. Once not finding answers and more research, even into the bible itself, then inevitably one becomes athiest or agnostic.

I'll send a message to the charity commission. In addition to abuses, it may be helpful for people to point out that they are NOT a charity. They don't give finanical, food, or any help to their own members, let alone outsiders. Almost every other church does actual charity help. The WT has it's followers shun education, gets them very poor, and is pressuring them to give every penny to spare they have, but won't help in return.

The New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures argues for more than one GOD
by smiddy ingen.1:26 "and god went on to say "let us make man in our image according to our likeness.....etc,etc,.. the key words here are "us" and " our" ,he is including other life forms just like him in using plurals.. he did not say " i" will make man in "my" image ,using the singular vernacular.
the same is also noted in gen 3:22 "and jehovah god went on to say " here the man has become like one of " us".
again he is using the plural and not the singlar language clearly showing their were other life forms on an equal footing to him.. also satan via the serpent also knew the difference between good and bad before he tempted eve , showing he was on a par with jehovah god in knowing that fact along with the other gods in heaven.. another scripture that comes to mind is 1 cor.8:5 "........just as their are many gods and many lords,,,".

Duet 32:8,9 Look it up in the silver sword. The gest of it though is that the "Most High" divided the nations and Israel is YHWH/Jehovah/etc's 'inheritance'. So other nations given to others. Also how can the almighty 'inherit' something? Inherit must be passed down. (All of that would make a good argument for why Jesus appears to be God if confusing the almighty and if he was prehuman YHWH)
