Not that exact phrase but many other churches set up missions, etc, for countries and poor areas that need help.

"Go Where the Need is Great" - Is this phrase unique to JW's only???
by AudeSapere in"go where the need is great"... it's one of those jw buzz-words/phrases.
almost like a secret code that just pops up in what would otherwise be a 'normal' conversation.. .
i was conducting an interview with a candidate this afternoon and she used this phrase when explaining that she travelled to various locations of a previous employer.

To quit the tracking and adds, if you use google chrome, for EVERY site you visit for the next week or 2, right click on it and click on the screen, then click on "page info' then under the permissions tab, click on "show cookies and site data". Then block every cookie that is not relevant to the website and all obvious advertising cookies. Some websites will only have a few, and some websites like yahoo.com you will have to cycle through a few times because they'll throw 100 cookies/websites at you to try to track. After a few days to a week you'll be track free without the hassle of blocking all cookies and unable to do much.
Right now there are shaving ads on this page, but that's probably because of the words in this thread.

A few posts asking if there is ever a need for an uzi. The only time I can think it might be appropriate would be for instance the owner of that quickstop that was looted and burned down. If he had been inside the store w/ an uzi, he could have mowed down the horde of criminals that spewed inside after breaking in the door.

The officer who shot him, "wasn't white". Why didn't they just say, "the officer who shot him was black"?
And if Obama had a son, he would have been the officer.

Bumping this at Nathan's request to see evidence of people advocating that young children should be handling firearms in light of the uzi incident with the 9yr old girl.

A catholic court ordered to attend jehovah's witnesses kingdomhall???
by EndofMysteries ini just saw this news piece, http://www.onenewsnow.com/legal-courts/2014/08/25/catholic-workers-ordered-to-attend-jehovah%e2%80%99s-witness-services#.u_uee_ldv8e.
the ninth u.s. circuit court of appeals has issued a ruling that workers at a home for the disabled must attend a jehovahs witness worship service with patients who wish to attend.. in 2009, california instructed san gabriel/pomona regional center to have staff escort a jehovah's witness patient to services, but two catholic employees objected and sued on the grounds that their faith requires they only attend catholic services.. brad dacus, founder of pacific justice institute, says it's an interesting case.. we have the rights of employees under title 7, which requires reasonable accommodation for the sincerely held religious beliefs of employees, he says.
in this case, arguably that would mean not requiring these particular employees to have to sit in and attend a jehovahs witness church service.. the attorney says employers should do everything they can to meet employees faith needs, but also cannot forget the needs of the disabled in this situation.

The Ninth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals has issued a ruling that workers at a home for the disabled must attend a Jehovah’s Witness worship service with patients who wish to attend.
In 2009, California instructed San Gabriel/Pomona Regional Center to have staff escort a Jehovah's Witness patient to services, but two Catholic employees objected and sued on the grounds that their faith requires they only attend Catholic services.
Brad Dacus, founder of Pacific Justice Institute, says it's an interesting case.
“We have the rights of employees under Title 7, which requires reasonable accommodation for the sincerely held religious beliefs of employees,” he says. “In this case, arguably that would mean not requiring these particular employees to have to sit in and attend a Jehovah’s Witness church service.”
The attorney says employers should do everything they can to meet employees’ faith needs, but also cannot forget the needs of the disabled in this situation. The Ninth Circuit says the Catholic employees can be forced to attend the Jehovah’s Witness services, but Dacus says the court doesn't fully recognize how those workers’ beliefs will be compromised if they are made to attend.
“If a public school said We're just going to have an entire class of students sit in a church service - just in an observatory capacity without having to participate - I don't think there's a judge in the country that wouldn't strike that down as unconstitutional,” he tells OneNewsNow.
This doesn't make any sense. I can see them being forced to drop off the disabled person at the kingdomhall. Unless the news is spinning it different, why would somebody be forced to sit in on the service as well?
Talk about cruel and unusual punishment lol.

by objectivetruth in- it's amazing to track the confusion and stupidity contained in wt articles.
- in only one watchtower you can find multiple contradictory statements, and representations of truth that are simply lies made up on the fly.

" Pondering over the words of the three men just quoted can help you prove yourself holy by being obedient" - This sentence is the dumbest WT phrase I've ever heard. The writer of this article should have the millions of WT's printed here shoved where the sun don't shine. I never read the scripture in the bible at RutherfordIsanAss 19:25 that says, "Thou shalt be proven holy when thoust ponders over the words of the three false prophets of the WT."

As soon as somebody sees a word like, "interestingly" then know that at some point in the future, 1 year, 20 years, etc, the SAME teaching will be changed with the words, "evidently".
