If she still believes it's the truth, then as soon as you have a child she'll go running back to the kingdomhall. If she leaves the JW religion and joins a church that allows freedom of thought, etc, then you'll be okay.

Will WT start having JW kids do school in kingdomhalls?

with all the articles about trying to keep kids in and not learn ttatt, etc, i can see one day they will use the kh's for class during the day and any parents who volunteer to teach, can count that as time.

What happy, wonderful thing happened to you since you left the "truth"?

more than one thing for me, but i have learned to enjoy festivals, and just enjoying free time.

it's not that the org wouldn't allow it, i just felt i shouldn't.

there are others, of course, and i really have been happier and good things have come my way since i left.

i believe the last two wt studies in the 7/14 wt study articles were planned for this exact time and did not come about by happenstance... the jw cult is preparing the rank and file for some faith altering "new light" to be announced fairly soon, and these scare tactics will do just the trick.... the articles are preparing the rank and file to become apostataphobic, they have the rank and file in such a frenzy, even have them questioning themselves and their own motives for being in the borg!.

It's interesting that all ex jw's, it's based on the WT teachings not scriptual teachings. Infact the WT is what publishes 'unscriptual teachings', so everybody should reject the WT as it's apostate with it's unscriptual teachings. However they have people spun and convinced that bringing out the unscriptual teachings of the WT, and studying the bible by itself is apostacy, somehow the WT has become the bible and the bible itself has become 'unscriptual'.

I remember when I was still in high school, there had been a program to work for a company, i think it was called danka or something. They were a copy machine company. Anyway, JW's who worked or did that program were told they had to leave and counceled on it because although they were only doing copy machine work, that company had some military affiliation too. What a joke!

i have seen in my local area and while traveling a foreign country jw.borg booths at flea markets.

i remember about 8 or 9 years ago seeing a russellite table at a flea market, and a jw with me said how they were from russells time when those apostates left and the only preaching they do is setting up stands like that.

now jw's are doing the same thing.
