New Watchtower Propaganda and hate speech destroying families (Feb 2016 WT)
by Daniel1555 inthe following is a paragraph from the new february study watchtower article "learn from jehovah's loyal servants.".
7 a conflict of loyalties may arise when a close relative is disfellowshipped.
for example, a sister named anne [1] received a telephone call from her disfellowshipped mother.

I think it's time the THOUSANDS of us start sending the latest WT quotes and teachings such as OP's post to news organizations, human rights organizations, your local senators, lawmakers, etc. With thousands complaining of this maybe they'll start to take action and get more publicity. What will WT do when featured on major news networks with their hateful teachings such as the above? lol -

The best advice I can offer to those trying to meet people and get a new social circle after leaving JW's.
by EndofMysteries inif like me, when you left the kh, your entire social network was gone.
how do you meet people of the opposite sex or make new friends, etc?
clubs, bars?

If like me, when you left the KH, your ENTIRE social network was gone.
How do you meet people of the opposite sex or make new friends, etc?
Clubs, bars? Not unless just looking for hookups.
I like dancing and had started going to dances, made friends and started getting a social network again. Shortly after I at least had friends and people for when I wanted to go dancing.
I also liked theme parks, etc, but could never get my dancing friends to go, so with that I was alone and nobody to join me. But then I found out about events, facebook groups, etc, and after going to a few I made friends and added more to my social circle as well, now I had people to share that interest of mine. Some liked both that and dancing!
So figure out things you really like to do and look into groups or events for those things, also use social media and look into local groups for those as well. As you do things you like and enjoy you'll meet people who share those interests and you'll already have something in common then!

Why Do You No Longer Believe in God?

Google didn't make the assertion, you did. Time to back it up if you expect to be taken seriously.
It this point, it simply sounds like you read a shitty paper, took a complete misunderstanding of science, DNA, teleology, computing, logic and forming and argument and ran with it and now are trying to get of out backing up a single thing you claimed.
That about sum it up?Thanks viv for these excellent replies you've made to your own typical responses.
EVERYBODY SAVE VIV'S RESPONSES HERE! So now the next time she makes claims and you ask her to back them up, or you ask her to validate any of her statements, you can use her own replies to her own typical answers of "use google", "read a book", "i'm not doing the work for you", etc.
Secondly Viv, since you are neither willing nor capable of having an actual debate/discussion, you always expect people to back up what they say but then give replies like, "Nope that's wrong", and when asked to back up why you say it's wrong, your generic replies of, "use google", "I'm not doing the work for you". No desire to answer any of your questions anymore. If all you do is troll, nobody will take you seriously anymore. If you want me to back up what I say, then start backing up what you say. If you'll give BS responses, expect the same from me if any response at all.

by thedepressedsoul inhere is an idea i tested.

i have noticed at the last convention and at my last assembly that when i opened up my wifi setting, tons of hotspots came up for people tethering their tablets to their smart phones.

Please show me those calculations.
Google is your friend
Awesome, name a computer program that evolved on it's own.
Google is your friend
How is that relevant to your assertion?

So you 'think' so I'm clearly wrong. A lot more than just 2 people have 'thought' you are wrong too so with everything you've ever said you are clearly wrong! And Viv doesn't count, she'll claim the opposite of anything you say whether right or wrong. -

DNA is not a programme, it has no information or instructions of any kind.
Wow, for being Mr. Science, to say DNA has 'no information or instructions' of any kind do you even know what DNA is or does? Let's look at a textbook definition of it..... "is a molecule that carries(STORES INFORMATION) most of the genetic INSTRUCTIONS used in the development, functioning and reproduction of all known livingorganisms and many viruses." Actually I should have just told you to read a basic 5th grade science book to understand DNA then get back to me.

The middle east wars - religion/power/creed
Prior to modern day, war would have really began due to survival. As tribes grew, space and resources ran out, who got the food? Who got the fresh water? etc.
Then there became nations, large tribes and protecting if they had resources or taking from another if they ran out.
Then greed and power from kings, if all was well, they wanted more. Or to further secure and expand by conquering and making survivors allies so no longer a threat.
Then religions, ones like some islam ones that teach to conquer non believers or kill those who leave the faith.
Nationalism - Hitler - remove non natives from the country, keep pure blood. This type may resurface with mass immigration into Europe. Those on certain race/ethnicities being breed out of existence, etc.
In the end many reasons for wars.

You're comparing something that happens and evolves due to physics to something that's created with a specific purpose and cannot evolve.
Computer programs absolutely can evolve! And it's only a matter of time before one is made that will be similar to a newborn child in which it's able to constantly take in information and learn and execute it's own made up decisions. We have the hard drive space capacities to house all the information and code needed, processing speed, etc. AND from not many years ago when such conditions would have been a computer the size of an entire building it's all small enough to be contained into robotics. If you have a kinect, that's technology with a computer using a camera (eye) as well as vocal and able to respond.
