Are we not appreciative of this bountiful smorgasbord of new light that can only come through the faithful slave? No other religion on this planet provides such spiritual food and God's direction on important matters such as when applause is appropriate. Are we showing our gratitude with regular donations?

Jeehoober says we can clap for reinstated ones!!
by DATA-DOG inso, i guess an upcoming wt has some new light on clapping!
evidently, jesus has misinformed the gb/wtbts since the late 90's.
clapping was disrespectful, because jesus felt that those who were df'd should not be given a pat on the back.

Keep preaching because we told you to but if you get caught and thrown in jail we didn't tell you because it is your personal ministry so don't expect any help from us.
Keep giving us your money. Don't worry about saving up or any fines you might get. Trust in Jehovah. Don't ask us for help though.

Where, when and with whom a person says about their beliefs is a private matter (ROM. 14:12). In addition, according to the law there is no obligation for person to report their attitude toward religion and cannot be compelled to define its attitude to religion".
That is a great quote, need to get a pdf of the letter. That quote would be excellent as somebody already pointed out for judicial committee. The said so themselves a persons beliefs are none of their business (Rom 14:12) Are we not thankful for this new light from the GB that nobody has to tell them or the elders anything.

What crime should elders report?
by kramer inso, i am trying to get my head around what the right position of elders should be when they come across crime is.. i think i get the issuess around clergy confidentiality - and how that might potentially be breached when they talk about it to other elders, let alone the police.. but if people are saying that elders - or clergy of another faith should report crime to the police when it is confessed to the, then where are the boundaries.. so if someone says they should report to police on a confessed example of child abuse, that's one thing.. how about reporting to police consensual sex between a 19year old and 15 year old - which is statutory rape in the uk.
how about criminal fraud if they come across it.
assault on a congregant?.

I would say if there was a victim involved. A sex crime vs taking drugs on their own or breaking a law.

As the GB have stated about "apostates" before that it was too bad modern laws prevented them from killing apostates. It really is too bad that these modern laws also prevent the execution of the GB as well, by their own words and reasoning they are damned according to Deut 18:20-22 (recall the CREATORS PROMISE they put in the front of all awake magazines, "The Creator’s promise of a peaceful and secure new world before the generation that saw the events of 1914 passes away". Deut 18:20-22 for those lies and false words of their owns mouth and not the creators promise has this to say,,,,"However, the prophet who presumes to speak in my name and word that I have not commanded him to speak.....that prophet MUST DIE. And incase you should ask in your heart: How shall we know the word that Jehovah has not spoken? when the prophet speaks in the name of Jehovah and the word does not occur or come true, that is the word that Jehovah did not speak. WIth presumptuousness the prophet spoke it. You must not get frightened at him".
So the GB wish they could execute all apostates to their false teachings, but according to Duet, the GB themselves should be put to death.
