  the us justice department just released findings from their investigation of the baltimore police department.

  as 40% of the force is comprised of black officers some thought they'd be "immune" to racial bias.

  it turns out black cops can be just as racist - if not more racist - against black people than white cops.

  Funny coded logic, the things I mentioned as a reason, an area with a drug problem and high crime, and those are the reasons.

  
  
  Also what you posted is not a form and it's a screenshot of somebody rewording things. Let's see what page 28 in the original form says....

  Further more if your screenshot is supposed to be proof that black male is prefilled in and can't be changed meaning it's on all of them, then so is officer "John Doe".

  So this person is loitering in a known area for selling/buying drugs. The officer asks him what he is doing there, etc, no answer, no id, etc, so he brings him in to verify who he is and if any warrants, etc. I see absolutely nothing wrong with that. Either you want police to help reduce crime, so cities like Baltimore don't turn into the 2nd worst in the entire USA for violent crime and drugs or you pretend that there are no problems and tell them to back off (and then it becomes the 2nd highest crime in the USA).

  Why does America even have a military? How many civilians have died in Iraq, Afganistan, and any country USA soldiers have fought to defend the country from terrorists who killed just a couple hundred/thousand people. Those civilian casualties are acceptable but somebodies hurt feelings or not being politically correct by taking them in for identification when they didn't cooperate and then safely releasing them, those hard feelings are not acceptable to help combat the thousands of murders in the USA every year?

  Trolley cart "witnessing" is getting ridiculous

  i really fail to see how much actual "witnessing" is occurring with the trolley carts.publishers, usually pioneers, just stand or sit there not engaging anyone and count their time.. the only thing i notice that it's accomplishing is brand exposure for jw.0rg so the public is exposed to the logo and literature/poster card headlines.. take for example this "evening" witnessing by a pioneer elder while on summer holiday/vacation.. .

  is this not a wth kinda moment when you consider the years of slaving, knocking on doors, business territory and bible studies we had to keep performing so we weren't branded a "weak" publisher?.

  Now that the publishing is no longer a viable business, they conveniently switch to a useless, non effective, "preaching" work.

  Good point. They don't want to pay to print more literature. They don't want to have real 'bible studies' actually using the bible itself conducted.

  Smart man. He can just leave his cart anywhere and go fishing, camping, etc, and "count his time". In fact somebody can leave a cart 24/7 at places and say they got 744 hours at the end of the month.

  Just saw this story. THIS is the true solution. These men have taken control of their lives, identified what they needed to do to be successful, and they are trying to bring change to their community. Change from within is the true solution. Government trying to babysit and fix everything won't ever be nearly as effective.

  The template provides a blueprint for arresting an individual standing on or near a public housing development who cannot give a “valid reason” for being there—a facially unconstitutional detention.

  
  

  Public housing developments are still private property for those who live there and work there. If the area has a drug and crime epidemic, and it's common for somebody to 'stand around' to deal business, or case for theft opportunities, then if they don't live there, and can't give a reason for being there, (visiting family/friends) then probably up to no good. Do random people just hang out in your backyard? Now if it's a public park or area for the public to just hang out, then that would be a different story.

  When I was still active, my mother was dfed for a time being. I didn't live w/ her and she was lonely and we met up every week to see a movie or something. She said she isn't supposed to really be around me and I told her in jw friendly words to f$$# that rule and the gb's teaching on that, I didn't agree with it and wouldn't follow it. I wish I got out by then but was still under the "Jehovah will fix it later" opinion.

  I think one solution though will be to legalize drugs for 18+ as is with smoking. If dangerous things such as smoking, alcohol, and chemical ridden food are legal then by making the other things legal, let a person ruin their own body if they want. If this is done then thugs/gangs/etc won't have drug money, won't have drug 'territory' to defend, no drug deals gone bad, etc.

  Community policing? - If they won't tell cops any information when a person or even child is murdered, how will you get that going? Not going to happen unless the good people within that community decide to fight back against the thugs and criminals among them.

  Example 'new style' Kingdom Hall with windows

  The only reason they have windows is because they are designed to eventually be resold as a fast food joint or small commerical property. They figure they'll make a lot of money by not building anything that a sincere God believer would for his house of worship, but instead as an investment where people build free commerical properties for them to sell when they appreciate in value.
