A repentant incest/child abuser is reproved and goes back to his home, the elders don't report the crime and the abuser remains at home with the abused. Ron de Rooy admits this is true, the elders don't report but would prefer that the accused go to the authorities.

With the publishers being spread about on to other congregations it would follow that the rumor mill would quickly tell the tale and spread the gossip all around the circuit and beyond.
This is certainly an unusual reason to disband a congregation, "lack of love". I'd be interested as well in learning what the real situation in the congregation was that lead to this conclusion.

I'm in your same situation. To me the fact that my wife puts the views, words, and opinions of a any JW elder above mine on anything not just those things related to religion and belief is almost a form of adultery.
Remember the Scripture about the three thong cord that wouldn't easily be torn in two? Well, the WT's added itself in as a forth thong, and it's chaffing my bum, because this thong is continually getting frizzly frazzled, irritated and progressively becoming irrelevantly redundant in this marriage relationship.

I've never heard of a congregation being disbanded for "lack of love". But... Maybe it was lack of love for the Gobbering Body and its traveling representatives.
