i have not turned in a single field service report this year.

i decided not to, after noticing the simple flaw in the calculation of 1914. the implications are huge, i.e the appointment of the fds is a fraud.

i some days ago informed them of the private watchtower documents that are in my possession courtesy of the royal commission.

I love it! They know that Momma WT isn't going to back them up on any local case of the elders following procedures that have been laid down by the GB/FDS/WT hierarchy blowing up in the elders' faces.

Anything "legal" may mean monetary expenses and possible payouts. It hits the WT where it really hurts.

in todays news from australia it appears that, despite his previous declination to appear when invited, justice mcclellan from the australian royal commission on child sex abuse will officially summon brother geoffrey jackson to the stand after all.. ..... the commission was due to conclude its hearings into the jehovahs witnesses on wednesday but justice mcclellan said he will now call geoffrey jackson, a senior member of the churchs governing body in new york who is currently in australia, to appear next week.. .

No really, I can't see that ever happening. He'll squirm out of it with WT lawyers help or give some assurances on the stand about making WT procedure changes that the Royal Commission suggests.

If they change the rules just for Australia, something like what they pulled in Bulgaria with the blood issue, then that's going to hurt them big time considering how it would spread through the internet like wild fire.

Why I have renounced Atheism and become a believer again

i have always said that if a god showed itself i would follow the evidence and renounce my atheism.

i have now seen enough to start believing again, i am so happy, i feel a inner contentment, when he connected with me i really knew it was him.

if you are not a believer you will not understand this, but trust me, look at the evidence, open your heart to him, let him in and your life will change for the better.

Angus Stewart tendered this spreadsheet list compiled by his team, he also requested the list mentioned by Morrits (sp?) who preceded O'Brien as Branch Coordinator in writing to the GB, he was told that there is no list in existence just the files, and so what we have so far is this list that he submitted into evidence.

as far as i can imagine, the .org is in a lose, lose, lose situation right now.

if jackson shows to the rc, and policy chages, then bible interpretation was changed sans-holy spirit.

policy change is an admission of guilt, not helpful in future civil court cases.

I'm sure like with the UN NGO fiasco they'll come up with some lame excuses that the r&f will eat up as you've pointed out, they've got the spin. But its spinning away from them at the moment and Jackson's appearance may bring the plates crashing down.

Angus Stewart calls the JW religion a captive organization

if you watched the questioning of terrence o'brien by angus stewart at day 7 part 3 on youtube--thanks so much for uploading these videos--you'll see that mr. stewart puts quite clearly to brother o'brien that the jw 0rganization is a "captive organization".. he makes this reference regarding the practice of da/df'ing and shunning, which he mentions is the one thing that makes ex-jw's the most angry.

because insisting on shunning ex-members causes psychological trauma and separates people from their family, friends and their community of support; therefore, they are held captive by the organization if they don't want to lose those most dear to them.. i believe angus stewart is to be commended for seeing clearly what the wt/jw religion is truly like in practice, and it isn't pretty.. the term "captive organization" is usually used in finance to mean a business front, a legal veil that shields the parent company from liability and having to make big insurance payouts.

for example if the australian branch gets sued and loses, the "wt australia" corporation will pay the amount awarded by the judge to the complainant.

Mr. Stewart used the term "captive organization" in the sense that people are coerced to remaining part of the 0rganization or else lose their family, friends and any support structure.

However, the term "captive organization" also exemplifies the use of a front company to shied a corporation or other entity from liability. Not what Angus was probably thinking of but it is a financial biz term.

If the GB had any sense they would stop shunning not only because its totally evil and nasty but it would get rid of people that didnt want to be JWs

Of course that's assuming the GB has "any sense". Which obviously it doesn't. They're all about high control and ruling, lording it, over others. The shunning policy is proof that they've set themselves as masters of other peoples' faith.

Bunch of gormless worms! This saying has proved true! They are a bunch of "gormless worms" feeding off of the tasty minds of others held captive in the bowels of this 0rganization.
