New Kingdom Halls

just watched jw broadcasting about their master plan for building new kingdom halls.

sounds like a big deal.

Around here in New England there's been KH consolidations all over. There's been a couple of years when nothing much has been done except volunteers giving two or more weeks to help out at Warwick.
Concerning the new KH plans, nothing much has been talked about, never mind being approved, although every KH with more than 5 grand in the bank has had to fork their "excess" over to Momma WT.
The new dentist-office/bank-branch flat-roof KH design makes absolutely no sense for our ice-and-heavy-snow winters. What are they thinking?

(my apologies if this was already discussed somewhere else.).

i noticed that the domain www.mt2414.com was taken, and when i tested it, it was a mirror of the log in portion of the www.jw.org site, where you can look up assemblies, kingdom halls, and make either one time or recurring donations.

so i created an account there (you can use fake form information as long as it's a real email address for email verification).

i was born into jws, pioneered for 10 years (met my husband at pioneer school).

had health issues that saw me catapulted away from 'the centre of the cong' and wow what a different place that was!

First impression was, wow, Watchtower artists are having 1960's bad acid trip flashbacks. But now looking at it again I'm left wondering if...
Due to the head-bands the cranium suffered from compression leading to chronic head-aches and susceptibility to satanic influence. The GB 3.0 had warned not to exert unnecessary pressure on their recently resurrected noggins and rebels decided to disregard the Channel's Direction to their mortal detriment.
And the guy with the mustache and the goatee is definitely asking for it, didn't he know it was rebellious and anti JW.0rg to grow facial hair?

BTW posting this during our meeting and the little girl in the row in front of me just pooped her diapers which for quite a little one it was a quite audible bowel movement--immediately after the moving part about the leper getting touched--quite moving. I'm thinking about moving myself to another row if her mom or dad don't do something quick about the wafting odor and go change the poor kid. You gotta have a sense of humor I'd say!
