Convention Videos: Someone messed up royally

when i first saw the video, i was like, "wait... is that her... panties showing through the dress"?and it seems like it is so.turns out that if you look at the middle right of the video, there are some letters.

it reads, "footage provided by pond5".if someone wants to purchase that video to confirm, you can purchase it here:http://depositphotos.com/63621499/stock-video-violinist-girl-walking-through-a.htmli think that this was a royal mess up because i doubt they would put footage of a sister in a skimpy, revealing dress.doesn't the gb approve this?this will probably go down as another of the "subliminal images"...if there are thongs in paradise... might not be so bad after all!.

Good eye! And yes there's some panty-ness showing through in my estimation.

And the WT used a look alike dressed in a similar dress with similar hair style standing in a field of similar coloration just to match the stock footage they purchased for their video.

Some WT video shop tech probably thought he made out finding the footage. It must have been worth the three seconds in time and filming budget, I guess.

You know, I doubt the GB even knows that they used stock footage on this climaxing video of the Convention.

it looks to me as though they are saying don't play at a higher level because your then in competition?

so if i'm correct what if any bible scriptures can be used to back up this anti competitive idea and are there other scriptures showing the opposite?.

Then again they have the gall to call for volunteers who have musical training or play professionally to come to the Branch, practice the lame songs and make recordings, oh, and travel back and forth to NY at your own expense. Good grief!

JWs aren't stupid

the title is a bit of click bait.

but here's the alternative title: what stupid beliefs/ideas did you have while an active jw.. i think the majority of jws that don't have obvious mental health issues are not stupid, just un/under-educated.

for example, i now accept evolution as a thing, not a controversy or conjecture.

One stupid belief I had was that I thought the WT hierarchy actually cared and wanted the best for those under their lead. I believed the published PR that the GB is only a group of experienced congregation shepherds who are guided by the Scriptures.

They're guided by their love of unquestioning power and their greed for filthy-lucre.

It doesn't cost millions a year to build crude Kingdumb Halls in Africa. It does help the WTBTS to inflate/exaggerate expenses/projects, and then pocket the excess $$$!

Exactly. Compare the photos on this thread and you can appreciate how the 0rganization is investing in realestate, making buildings which are built and maintained by volunteer labor, and can later be sold for a good profit. Then there are the deplorable looking KH's they're building for the use of the R&F while collecting donations from more affluent countries with the excuse of building KH's.

In the Branch photo's background you see the nice buildings with red tile roofs and white-washed walls, how much money went into building it than in what the R&F have for a KH to meet in?

No wonder Lett is smiling big time even in 3rd world countries the 0rganization gets the first fruits, everyone else the crumbs, if that.

84 large top of line 4 K Sony Ultra TV, 65 inches (for fun) TVs sent down to near Ft Lauderdale, Florida. Might be retreat to reward pets.
In New York 22 halls dissolved due to lack of attendance. GB is much upset with Bethelites, “huge rift.”
GB did not pay medical bill for Bethelite they had sent to the Domincan Republic and got sick there; is right now fighting to stay alive. Anger expressed in back rooms. GB member Jackson withholding some information;
IT team stopped working on project for him that is illegal data mining; being punished for it but the IT doesn’t care anymore.
At Brooklyn and Warwick GB losing control as people taking lunch when they want etc. Don’t care and so keeping out alcohol in open.
Trying to bring in older elders to replace younger Bethelites but not able.

Does anyone have more info on this?

i'm very impressed with the way pope francis is handling matters concerning child abuse and the catholic church.

I'm very impressed with the way Pope Francis is handling matters concerning child abuse and the Catholic Church. It is quite a change of direction and leadership in this centuries old world wide institution with a long history of human rights abuses.

I invite your comments on this article and also ask if you feel there will ever be a time in the WT world where this type of leader may arise and begin to clean house.
