That's clearly the Patronus charm in action. That man just saved himself from a Dementor! The writer is obviously a huge Harry Potter fan.
Wow! You're right, but I think the WT version is way more dangerous than Harry Potter!

a comment by forum member 'sowhatnow' made me stop and think about how true it is the wt is becoming another tv evangelist religion.
the similarities are uncanny!.
logos.
Even the programming which includes anchorman type introductions, mini-talks, interviews, sad stories, triumph stories, and indoctrinating animated religious lessons for children.
Oh and I almost forgot, begging for money!
Seems like they've got it all copied and implemented.

elder: "i'm not sure i know what you mean by 'diversity.'.
elder: "well, it's not quite like that.
elder: "um.
so i went to the rc this past weekend and have a few observations:.
1 - use of videos - most parts had some sort of video prop.
they ranged from awkward (an example was on friday where they showed scenes of nature without a real purpose other than god made this) to very well done.
With the number of baptisms so low and considering the attrition of membership due to deaths, DF'ings, DA'ings and those fading it's hard to believe the yearly numbers that show an increase in the total number of publishers.
Can we really believe the published yearly increases in publishers?
humanity doesn't need to continue believing in hocus pocus pie in the sky religious hogwash and pipe dreams to have hope of everlasting life.
nor is it necessary to find the fountain of youth or turn off the aging process.. it's only a matter of time until science achieves it.
maybe not decades away, maybe not even centuries, but eventually..... ....mankind will achieve eternal life through a transplant of the human brain into a future highly advanced robotic body.. already the scientific fundmentals for it exist.
In Age of Adeline, the secret to turning off aging was found in 2035. Only 20 more years!
I dunno, you sure? That's a year past the 1914+120 years WT timetable!
But maybe that's what they had in mind when they wrote the article using Noah's Ark illustration to hint at the next possible Armageddon date. WT's New World Order, in the Age of Adeline millions now living will never die!
Right!
the internet is the archive for civilization.. watchtower cannot hide it's history.. are we seeing the beginning of a mass exodus out of her?.
the dawn bible students association has a problem.
ken fernets, when on the phone, shows his true colors to women who call.
he engages in flirtatious speech.
Okay, Frank/HMTM, It's been two weeks since I offered to start discussing with you what changes you'd like to see in the WT.
So what do you feel could be done to start reforms and get the WT closer to Biblical and mainstream Christian doctrine?
I'm very interested in hearing your ideas about this.

LOL! I'd rather look at that tin head on a JW broadcast than see Lett's facial antics any day!
according to leading astronomers the probe philae that landed on the comet 67p last november may have discovered microbial life..... sadly neither the probe nor the orbiter rosetta are equipped to test directly but the evidence is interesting.
these are not easily explained in terms of prebiotic chemistry.
the dark material is being constantly replenished as it is boiled off by heat from the sun.
It'd be so awesome if they confirmed life elsewhere!
I agree, Doc10. And how I do wish I could be around for such news!
Let's see creationists and theologians weasel and squirm their way around that!
Unreasonable minds might. Just like with the un-Solar System and Flat Earth mentality there will be those who close their eyes to any scientific progress.
