The only reason the blonde is there is for distractionary purposes.....
and to make it look like the WT likes and uses women...
I seem to recall that the WT used a woman lawyer in the Unthank case.
And as Toole was asked, he has a woman lawyer in the law office business (a front).
Could she be either of these two?
In any case the "blonde" hasn't said a peep, hasn't asked any questions, just makes facial expressions and readjusts her hair or talks to the guys to her side, sitting there looking pretty and smug.
It would be interesting to know her involvement with the WT and exactly what role she plays before the RC.

Amazing how disorganised this org appears when it's to their advantage.
Indeed. The whole organization structure is micromanaged to the umpteenth degree--the hierarchy is so anal about following direction and making reports just right and then they are asked questions before a judge and it's: "I don't recall," "I don't remember," "I'm not aware of that," "I am not involved in that specific aspect so I can't comment," "I can't give an answer to that hypothetical question," "You're asking me to respond to an absolute and I just can't do that," "I'm not involved with the legal dept.," "I'm not involved with the Service Dept.," "I'm not aware of the Branch Committee's manual"...
Of course not, WT drones only recall and remember when the WT lawyer asks a question!

I'm looking forward to the Branch Manual being brought up with O'Brien. Remember that Toole said he knew nothing about it even though he's the senior member of the Branch's legal dept.
Mr. Stewart probably has some good questions coming up concerning that publication.

Also, Morrits (sp?) is 90 years old and knows what the letter mentioning a "list" actually meant. If these cases go back to 1950 then I'm sure the list back then was kept on hardcopy. To say there's no list because there's no printout would be obfuscating the issue.
They do keep a list as a database, and they could provide a report printout or file from the database that contains all the names and the case files.
If the Branch can't come up with this information then New York, Bethel, can surely extract the cases for Australia from their 23,720 child abusers on file at Jehovah’s Witness headquarters.

Right, he doesn't know about theocratic warfare strategy.
If he doesn't know that terminology he surely knows about the concept. It's been studied and studied over the years. Toole is quite a tool--of the WT!

That's right Mephis--Toole just said "people have an absolute right to speak to whomever they want to"! And my jaw dropped!
How about a DF'ed person can they speak to them, I guess they have the right, the "absolute right" to do so, and they can also be held to account before elders for doing so and maybe even expelled from the congregation if they insist in talking "to whomever they want to".
Toole is such a liar! He's not giving a true picture of what JW religion's expectations are.

three or four calls to the Legal Dept from elders reporting on a cases of child abuse PER MONTH for two years now according to Toole!

This guy Toole is such a tool! He has no knowledge whatsoever of Branch Committee operations and he's the head lawyer in the Branch!?!
He has "no idea" about Branch operations!!!!

The WT payed for his lawschool studies. And he does volunteer lawyer work for the WT. He has a law office but it's just a front.

Rodney Spinks' Performance

it seems like there has not been as much discussion here about the rc testimony on day 6 (4th august) as there has been about previous days.

i was quite surprised by rodney spinks' testimony, which was a marked contrast to the bungling and inarticulate testimony of the elders that appeared before him.

spinks seemed reasonably co-operative, and a lot more willing to concede points than anyone else has been.

Funny, I had a totally opposite reaction to Spinks. I thought he was combative with Mr. Stewart at times and had to be put in his place by the Judge. It was then that he cowered and sheepishly assented to what he was asked.
He gave false testimony concerning the freedom the Australian Branch has in making up guidelines and interpreting directives from New York. He was clearly trying to shelter the GB from too much involvement.
But then he ended up throwing the GB under the bus by saying with a smile there are more experienced members of the Branch than the members of the GB regarding policy and procedures. Any r&f JW would on hearing that would go "Say whuh?" on that revelation.
So I guess that according to Spinks, Branch experience takes precedence over God's Spiritual Direction upon the Faithful and "Discrete" Slave.
