some internal sources in jw.org has brought me attention to the following data:.
- in which european country, not member of the eu, and well known for their banking industry, jw.org and some affiliated structures do maintain some business incorporated structures and companies?.
- which is the purpose of these business and company structures?.

did anyone experience a disassociation announcement during the public meeting instead during the service meeting?.
in my case it was announced the next day that we submitted our letter and this was on sunday instead of waiting for the service meeting on thursday..
They're probably not getting enough attendance at the mid-week meeting! Kkkkkk.
judge sanctions jehovah's witnesses.
imposes $4000-a-day penalty for not producing documents in sex-abuse case.
by dorian hargrove, june 24, 2016. a san diego superior court judge has ordered the church of jehovah's witnesses, also known as the watchtower bible and tract society of pennsylvania, to pay $4000 a day for every day that it fails to produce documents requested in a civil lawsuit brought by former parishioner, osbaldo padron, who claims a church elder sexually abused him when he was seven years old.. in a june 23 ruling, expected to be made final today, judge richard strauss admonished the church for willfully ignoring a court order to produce all documents associated with a 1997 body of elders letter that church leaders sent to parishes around the world in a quest to learn about sexual abuse of children by church leaders.. over the course of the past year, the watchtower society and its lawyers have fought hard to keep the letter confidential, claiming that turning over the documents would infringe on the privacy of those mentioned in the letter that were not associated with the case.. in march 2015, the church turned over a heavily redacted version of the letter.
One thing I'm noticing is that the courts aren't buying the WT's tactics of trying to legally separate the hierarchy from the corporations.
The CCJW "is" the WTB&TS in drag. In fact, the WTB&TS has many and sundry incorporated dresses it likes to wear.
From Australian courts the WT's defense of the Governing Body not being a legally identifiable "body" didn't seem to fly once the Australian Royal Commission started asking questions.
Loesch's refusal to testify, saying the WT has no control over him and he has no control of the WT isn't flying well this time either. I'd love to see him be subpoena'ed and forced to appear, the lying filthy-lucre-loving hypocrite!
Fining the WT $4k per day hits them hard where it hurts. They hate paying out money, as their main emphasis has been trying to rake in as much of it as they can. But they're bleeding money fast!
I applaud the plaintiffs determined fight to get justice and the judge's sharp vision in seeing through the pall of fog and lies of the WT.
everyone talking about leaving the eu, i am concerned and excited.
mostly i look forward to seeing bible prophecy coming true and i keep my mum in the forefront of my mind.. me too sis!.
we left eu.
The JW.0rg facebook fan page has over 12,000 members.
There are also "hundreds" of JW groups on FB.
So yeah, the counsel not to join social media isn't followed much.
recently susie, one of my co-workers mentioned that her husband's family were all jws.
the family converted after susie's husband left home, so he never joined the jws, nor does he intend to.
anyway another co-worker asked her: "what do the jws believe?".
The "Jesus is not the mediator for the other sheep" caught me totally by surprise after I'd been an elder for five years. How I never knew that before was beyond me!
So yeah, many JW's have little clue about many "deep" truths of the Watchtower religion.
A co-worker once remarked that JW's believed in polygamy. "No, that was the mormons" I retorted. And to myself I thought "Hey, that could solve the problem of so many single sisters, wouldn't it?"
i just frightened a jehovah’s witness lady half out of her wits!.
i just frightened a sweet jehovah’s witness lady half out of her wits.... .
she took off like a sprinter at the sound of a starter pistol!.
but there's something there. . . I hope.
The something there on your Lady friend is probably PTSD upsurging ;-)
No, but really... What I find interesting is that you were very upfront with her--you didn't try to mislead her into some sort of 'poztate trap. You told her exactly what your experience had been and your estimation of the WT religion being a "cult".
She could have defended her belief instead of running off. Maybe she felt inadequate about speaking back, not being able to express thoughts in a second language? I dunno, maybe?
Or then again, even though she seems like she was a JW n00b, and quite inexperienced at informal witnessing, her cult mind seems to have taken over and called for a quick retreat to safety away from exposure to anti-cult witnessing.
One thing's for sure, though, Terry, your writing is very vivid and descriptive. You're really developing quite a gift for writing, kudos!
