i gotta say i'm loving their head-down-we-gotta-shun-you interactions.. yesterday at the hospital i was headed out when in comes an ex-elder with his sadly ill mother in law in a wheelchair.

since he was wheeling her in, i held the door for him, and shined a big smile both to his mil and to him.

she looked at me with very open eyes, (she's never been a jw), and seemed to appreciate the friendly favor.

I gotta say I'm loving their head-down-we-gotta-shun-you interactions.
Yesterday at the hospital I was headed out when in comes an ex-elder with his sadly ill mother in law in a wheelchair. Since he was wheeling her in, I held the door for him, and shined a big smile both to his MIL and to him. She looked at me with very open eyes, (she's never been a JW), and seemed to appreciate the friendly favor. He on the other hand bent his neck to the side and his head way down.
I fixed my gaze on him and gave him a friendly "Hey, how are ya?"
He raised his eyes just so, but his head stayed down, and he muttered a run together 'Hayadoin" as brief and barely audible as he could.
It must suck big-time to have to acknowledge a DF'ed apostate's presence in front of someone else who would be shocked at his shunning of someone who just did you a favor and greeted you warmly.
Wasn't there something about "putting coals on someone's hear"?
I looked up at the bright sunshiny sky and exclaimed "Whatta nice day!" loudly enough for them to hear me well as the door self closed slowly behind us.
What a nice day indeed. I'm loving it whenever I get to be all hyper-friendly and they quail and shade away.

Yeah, it's the same person, and it was news to me.
I guess he used to go by oroborus21 which is the same as his email on the Calif. Bar contact email address for him.
But you would think that the WT would jump all over having the name "Jehovah's Witnesses' trademarked like JW.0RG is now.

A Los Angeles attorney has pleaded guilty to charges that he traveled to a hotel to meet a 16-year-old girl from Georgia who turned out to be an undercover police detective. Eduardo Brito Leaton pleaded guilty to one count of meeting a minor for lewd purposes and three counts of using a minor for sex acts, according to the Los Angeles County DA's office. Leaton is scheduled to be sentenced on Oct. 18 to six years in state prison and will have to register as a sex offender for life.

I Ain't Got No Religion No More ... (But I Like to Get Myself Some Gospel Music)

i love gospel music.

i don't feel like i need to believe in "jebus" to appreciate the music.

i can't go into a gospel church because i might just get religion again - that or i'll be grabbing the mic on be on the stage waving my hands and praising the lord.. i particularly like dylan's gospel period.

in exodus 23:4 jehovah established this law: “if you come across your enemy's ox or donkey wandering off, be sure to take it back to him.”.

if jws were really his people, jehovah would have ensured they never go wrong in their teaching which is in effect much more than mere “wandering.” if jehovah is concerned about wandering animals of enemies of his chosen people, much more concern should have been shown by him towards his modern-day chosen people.. yet the changes they have made are too many.

It's really amazing how the WT can go into such thought out detail about organizing events, but then when the elders and self acclaimed non-presumptuous Jackson are brought up before the ARC, it's "I dunno this" and "I dunno that".
I guess if it isn't in an organizational manual then it ain't in the cult controlled brain.
