  Any Ideas on the Next "Big Thing" that Will Bring the Watchtower Down?

  i received this via a face book pm from the group christian witness fellowship:.

  also near the end of the show, richard rawe says "something extra big" is about to happen that will take watchtower "down," something bigger even than their pedophile scandal and the u.n. connections scandal put together.

  he says he can't spill the beans yet, but the something is definitely coming.

  I wouldn't rule out the Christ scenario either. I'm not kidding. Call me a loony if you wish.

  Maybe Lawrence Hughes finally made some headway and the Canadian Supreme Court is about to take drastic actions.

  A class action lawsuit on blood-related deaths?

  Personally, I think the recent "generation" new light might very well qualify.

  But, yes, government intervention is very possible. I wouldn't write off anything just yet.

  I just arrived at my current place of residence via cab... the lovely gentleman driver was from Togo. We had a good laugh together about the inclement Midwest weather (so foggy you could barely see) but agreed that being in America vs being in West Africa, at this time in history, is a pretty good tradeoff for crappy weather. It made me think of those poor folks in Haiti... when I got home I thanked God that people like myself and that fellow were able to live in a place that was relatively trouble-free.

  We've all been through a lot of shit, friends. But it could be worse. And moments like this remind me that there are, indeed, good things in this world.

  The Lord truly works in strange and wondrous ways.

  God bless all of you.

  Anybody Know What Presiding Overseer's are Being Told at Bethel School ?

  i guess there is a special training school going on for presiding overseers according to my jw mom.

  my elder brother went back there for a week training session .

  he explained that they are doing this training first in the united states only for presiding overseers and if it works out well - they'll implement it across the world in other countries.. apparently he stated that the training they are getting is very detailed and to the point.

  The WT is beyond beating a dead horse.

  They raised the horse from a colt, (cult?) beating it all the while, the horse died, they kept beating it, a kind neighbor buried the horse, then they dug up the horse to beat it some more, ate the horse, crapped it out, beat the shit out of the shit, flushed it, and are now waiting patiently at the sewage processing plant...

  but the normal rank and file jehovah's witness doesn't have a clue as to how many times the predictions of dates allegedly marking the " end of the world " have come and gone without realization or fulfillment.

  In the movie Titanic, what characters do you remember most? Who (besides Jack and Rose, which is obvious) were the most poignant? Do you remember the officers barking orders or any of the countless ones scurrying like rats?

  I don't know about you, but the characters that stuck with me the most were the sweet old couple who stayed in the bed holding each other, resigned to their fate, and the musicians who played as the ship went down.

  The ship is going down, friends. Who do you want to be? The ones mindlessly shouting orders? The rabble mindlessly obeying and/or scurrying?

  Or do you want to be the ones who remember what's most important, even in the last few moments in existence, i.e. easing the pain of others before they shuffle off this mortal coil?

  I don't know about you, but I'll be playing my violin until my lungs are full of ice water.
