Completely understand what you are saying! I decided recently to make this phrase my mantra as it were. I have repeated it NUMEROUS times in my head the past few days.
At some point, I have to make how I live the rest of my life, MORE important, than how my life has gone so far.

haha...I agree...but time passes...in the end, like I said, a movie doesn't determine what your "beliefs" are, or "who" you are. Unless it is an orgy involving women, small children, and donkeys....it is just a movie!!
I always hated when people judged me for the movies I watched, even tho I was VERY selective. The final straw was when my brother-in-law, who was a former circuit overseer, wouldn't let his daughter watch Charlotte's Web because there was dying! BALANCE people...BALANCE. That goes for us that are no longer JW!
Moshe...I think that is an excellent idea! Have them over, you never know what will come of it :)

They are kids...you seem friendly...and your daughter is friends with her daughter! As to Avatar...why wouldn't any "active" Witness see this movie? We aren't talking 30 years ago when "damn" was the freakin' "f" word! Be happy for your daughter!

My after surgery symptoms. Normal?
by horrible life ini had minor surgery this past week.
did have general anesthesia.
graphic, memorable dreams.. i want to eat all of the time, especially if it is sweet.. wake up not groggy.

For what it's worth...I experienced all of those symptoms after surgery. But with anything....if you feel nasty for too long, get it checked out! Hope the surgery was successful. Surgery is NEVER fun!
Take care
