Thanks to whoever brought the site up :] But please, can someone or the one hosting the site send me a pm? I would really want a mirror of the page. A full mirror incase it gets down in the future, which i hope it will not. But i would just want one. And with httrack i get up to 25kb/s soo that would take forever. The site is bigger then i thought. All those .pdf:s...

There are allot of upload oages that takes big files. If all of the page was in a .rar archive for example..

Quotes Mirror Sites: Attempt at Making a Single Place to Report Sites

it appears that the work around for the quotes site will be a long term effort.

as the wt plays whack-a-mole with the new sites that pop up, we need to know where the new ones pop up.. so here is my attempt to bring some order to this process.

let's make this a running thread where we put all our links to the mirror sites.. the downside is that the wt will know where to go to find out where the new sites are they have to squash.. the upside is that it is alot easier to put a site up then it is for the wt to take them down!!!.

Whats happened to the Watchtower quotes website?

i often check this site and its been fine, now its gone.

i know the wt succeeded in shutting it down a few years back but it reinvented itself and reappeared.

have they succeeded again?

i have been out since 1998 and have rarely seen another jw since.

i didn't leave because i found anything wrong, i just didn't want to live the life anymore.

i still defended the witnesses at times.

in compliance with the terms of a settlement agreement, my information and research web site, http://quotes.watchtower.ca, is now "dark".

the domain "watchtower.ca" has been transferred to wts (i assume they will have it pointing to borg.org watchtower.org asap).

my copies of the site have been destroyed, the files deleted, and my wt library cd has been destroyed, in accordance with the settlement agreement which will afford a "discontinuance" of their suit against me.

And onother thing. You can use httptrack too take backups of sites all the time. Soo if they put it down, you can make a mirror easy.

Stand up, get up, dont give up the fight. Or something like that.
