  My frist email letter from my JW Dad. So sad...

  i am in my early 30s and woke up to ttatt in late 2012. my dad just turned 65 in june!

  wow, i never saw that being possible.. .

  he just got himself a computer and was able to get internet in a remote location where he is serving as an elder with my mom (where the need is great) i was happy to see how he was able to send me a few notes saying hi and i was able to share some pictures of my wife and family, etc.. .

  Don't feel bad, that coulda come out of my own Dad's mouth. He's about the same age. Really shows how all of them are under mind control, they spout the same platitudes over and over.

  What was the spring and autumn thing about? I guess Jesus died in the spring, is he referring to October 1914 for the autumn reference. And of course probably has his hopes up for this fall as well.

  So sad. What a waste of life.

  developers are lusting after a jehovahs witnesses parcel in dumbo that is, for the moment, not for sale despite the best efforts of would-be buyers to pry 85 jay street out of the witnesses hands for as much as $400 per buildable square foot, or potentially $352 million.. the prime locale, bordered by york, jay, front and bridge streets and occupying a full block, is zoned for 880,000 buildable square feet all of which can be residential, as the real deal previously reported.. this is the last great site in dumbo, one unnamed source told the brooklyn eagle, also noting that building on the spot would be a breeze thanks to ample room for a construction office, cranes and concrete trucks.

  construction costs are expected to be less than $400 per square foot, including interest on the construction loan, taxes and broker fees.. for now, the site is a parking lot lined by a metal fence topped with razor wire.. since the recent october sale of our five buildings in dumbo, several qualified real estate developers have expressed interest in purchasing 85 jay street, david semonian, a watchtower spokesman, told the brooklyn eagle via email.

  yes, the jws continue to bleed their young ones, so far in my local kh 3 were dfd, one girl just turned 18 this month and packed her bags and said goodbye to the cult and her cultish parents, another young 18 year old man decided to have a non-jw girlfriend and decided to stop attending and is no longer a witness.

  they continue to leave and wt leaders dont give a damn.

  they dont do anything to help kids be successful and live a healthy life.. .

  WATCHTOWER on revelation's MYSTERY GREAT BABYLON, And your view about it

  i think wt interpretation about the rev.

  mystery great babylon is too general, saying that is all false religion..... from reading revelation, it looks more specific because it says, it is the mother, ( maybe origin or root ).... what's your view ?

  The best explanation I have ever heard about the book of Revelation is that my main man John was nibblin' on the shrooms that are abundant on the Isle of Patmos.

  Its a DA offense if you look at the letter of the law.

  I believe its more of a "don't ask, don't tell" kind of deal in reality currently.

  Hopefully within a decade they will flip to a conscience matter. Nu lite that will actually save lives.

  Recent Visit with my Wife's Family

  my wife followed shortly after.

  we recently went to visit her parents that know that we don't go to the meetings, and it bothers them but they don't know what to do, as they really can't do much.

  Now that is plain awesome! Hilarious how they think they can spout magical phrases like "we missed you at the meetings" and the like and think they can guilt you back into coming.

  Sometimes I think that the people on the board who are worried about leaving and losing their family should think about what they will be missing out on - not a whole hell of a lot!

  What is the "new" date JWs are "hinting" at for Armaggeddon?

  after the 1975 "we did not say point blank armaggeddon was coming we only suggested it might come" fiasco what is the new date jws are "hinting" at for armaggeddon?

  i know now they do not point to any specific date but hint that maybe it might occur such as before 2000 the preaching work will be finished.

  this is a suggestion not a prediction so they can wiggle out of this one.

  They could use 2034 as a date, but you can't set it too far out, it say 15 years at the very most. Like Focus mentions, 10 years would give them maximum value in that they could probably stem the tide of those leaving significantly, and bring back some brainwashed inactives who get scared back in by relatives.

  What they wouldn't get is a boost in recruiting from the outside world like they did in 75. Non witnesses can't be fooled easily now that the Debil's internet is here.
