Crazy indeed, until you remember this is an organization all based on appearances.
It matters not if you are a spiritual, giving, and loving person to the core of your soul. It matters if you were "seen" at the last meeting, assembly, or out in field serve-us.
It doesn't matter if you help 25 hungry people eat, it matters if you put 15 hours on your monthly time slip, proving you drove around mindlessly and handed out 10 magazines.
