Probably allowed unless you stay the night at their house, cause that automatically means they had sex..

Asexual dating?
by purrpurr infor those who don't know, asexual is someone who feels no sexual desire for other people.
they may often want the companionship of a relationship but with no benefits.
what would the jws view be of a jw dating an asexual worldly person?

New baby on the way... and transfusions
by Anony Mous init's been a while since i posted life updates.
this time we are having a baby boy come along in a few months.
off course nothing is ever easy, my wife is extremely anemic to the extent we are being referred to a hematologist for iron and/or packed red blood cells and potential full blood transfusions.

Our feelings about the JW experience stay with us for years. Be happy you've been freed from the Matrix and you can get the best medical care available . Congrats to you and your wife!

Good start. Make sure its 18 on the baptism, legal age you can sign a contract. Should be easy enough to prove to the court if she objects that bapping is a lifetime contract with the WTBTS under penalty of shunning.
Get a recorder for now if there arent any people around when you meet (provided you are allowed to record things per your state law). If you catch her one time on audio/video melting down on you like that it can be powerful court evidence.

Paranoid why the coordinator's wife is soft shunning me
by Isambard Crater infor the past six months the coordinator's wife has definitely been avoiding me, turning her back or walking away when i walk in her direction, giving me a stare at other times.
if i try to make casual conversation with her, she literally walks away or just looks through me until someone else comes to talk to her.. i can only think of one reason, which is that she may have seen me give a car ride to a disfellowshipped person months ago.
i mean, it would be totally random if she happened to spot me on this one short journey, but it's possible.

Take her aside and shove Matthew 5:23 up her ass (nicely of course). If she brings up that then simply say why in the world are you shunning me instead of bringing Matthew 5:23 to you. Win-lose. You win, and she loses either way.
There are always ways to mess with these people using their own doctrines against them.

boyfriends jehovah witness mom
by whatisthis12 inmy boyfriend is an ex new jehovah witness and today i got a message from one of his friends asking if i could delete a comment he wrote on one of my pictures because my boyfriends mom is harassing him about it.
he also basically told me that she has people who added me just to view my profile and let her know!!!!
she also sends him messages and pictures from the watchtower.

Another thing you might check is the "suggested friends" thing that FB brings up. Click on their profile and see if you know them at all. I believe FBs algo will show you people you have looked at your profile. If you don't know who they are, just block them, they are probably the peeps that are spying and reporting back to mama

Can the GB be directed by Holy Spirit and at the same time be not inspired ?
by Chook inyes god directs our writings but they're not inspired, so gods directions are staggered and overlapping , so the genuine innocent believing jw has a wonderful life of overlapping bullshit.
so next time you meet a jw priest ask them what is the difference between being directed and inspired, then i promise you will hear first hand an example of overlapping bull..
-
LostGeneration
A distinction without a difference is the best way to put it.
Which also begs the question, why and how was the Holy spirit so awesome back in the day (bible times) but can's seem to get anything right today? (Assuming the JW org is directed by holy spirit like they claim).

Were You Surprised You Remained a JW As Long As You Did?
by minimus inwe have been told there's no place else to go.
and to some degree mentally speaking, that is true especially if you were raised in the religion.
at 50 i was out of the organization's clutches.

LostGeneration
Yes, definitely. I explored apostate ideas when I was in my late teens. But the mind control was strong. Became and elder in my early 30s and then a few years after finally saw it was all bull. Wasted almost 20 years more than necessary.

So now the JW's are setting up carts/stands in our national and public parks!
by StoneWall inthought i'd share this article i was sent today.
it's getting to where you can't go and take a leisurely stroll or hike without being bombarded with the stufff we want to get away from.http://www.citizen-times.com/story/sports/outdoors/girls-gone-outdoors/2017/07/06/proselytizing-blue-ridge-parkway/452390001/.

They keep finding ways to make themselves look bad. Their self awareness level has got to be among the worst ever. Keep it up JWs, your god must be so proud of you.

Stonewalling and the Governing Body
by UnshackleTheChains inwhy do the gb stonewall individuals with legitimate questions.
for example, they refuse to speak to investagative journalists like trey bundy, unless they happen to get caught somewhere walking about in the street by chance.. i remember the panorama documentary 'suffer the little children' where the presenter tried to arrange an interview with one of the gb.
i can't remember if the gb either refused or simply didn't reply.

Another example, when Geoff Jackson was hauled before the ARC, you know, the whole "you will be hailed before Kings and Governors" thing.
Here he was, with a platform to speak as someone representing Christ's brothers. A simple question of whether he was part of the faithful slave. Yet he dodges the question and says it would be presumptuous to say so.
Now, if he really believes that he is the faithful slave, and that millions if not billions would benefit by following the advice of he and his cohorts, he obviously should shout that from the rooftops. Or, maybe he doesn't really believe it? Hmmmm. Almost a Peter-like denial of Christ there, wouldn't you say?
