one is titled: unity identifies true worship and the other christian unity glorifies god.
of course it is more uniformity, not true unity.

Yes, Non-Captive. That's really miracle. We had big International Convention in summer of 1991 in Zagreb. War and bloodshedding started in spring of that year. There were many policemen, because they tought that convention will turn into bloodshedding (there were Witnesses from Serbia, Montenegro, Croatia, Slovenia, Macedonia and Italy). Shortly after that (only few days maybe) the war and bloodshedding exploded.
There are many stories about Witnesses from Croatia, Serbia and Bosnia who always helped each others, however they could, even at their own risk. Some posters here argue that there is only "conditional love" among Witnesses. I know that it is not true. I know that we sometimes forget to show that love, I don't apologize that. It is true, sometimes we have too much duties.... And yes, we forget it...... But I know that love of my Serbian, Bosnian, Croatian and Austrian brothers wasn't conditional. They really sacrificed themselves and risked their lives, just to bring me help. During the war brothers had chance to show that love. They still have it today, but sometimes forget that. I don't care. They will show it again if I will need it.
Why I became Jehovah's Witness? If they will be proven wrong, I will leave them. But I will have good foundation for the future (studying, basic knowledge of Bible). Many posters will agree with me, I know. Ask Leolaia, Randy and others....
Of course, the first reason is the real love. I think it is more important than knowledge, false prophecies, generation doctrines..... isn't it? (John 13:34, 35)

Will the serbs, croatians and muslims ever find resolution?
Serbs, Croatians and ex-muslims, who are Jehovah's Witnesses, have already found it. Others.... I don't believe they will ever find it. Too much blood was shed. For what? If they find resolution, that blood was for-nothing.
In Tito's time, there was expression "our nations and nationalities". "Our" means "Yugoslavian". Tito and party always wanted to have DIFFERENT nations and nationalities in Yugoslavia. Tito was Croatian and Catholic. However, he always identified himself as "Yugoslavian". One very kind journalist asked him in one interview: "Can you say, what nation do you belong to, more precise?" He was very nervous, and answered her: "I am Croatian, but I never put accent on that!"
Why?
Because he wanted to keep all nations together, in Yugoslavia.
Did all nations like him? I am too young to answer that. I am 21 years old (1989), and Tito died in 1980.
But I think they did. He was dictator. He killed many people, many of his opposers, many people who were not his opposers, but Tito thought they were (Andrija Hebrang.............), many people who only said "I think he is insane", or were suspected for nothing.
Son of Andrija Hebrang, Andrija Hebrang Jr. says that "Wherever you dig the Croatian ground, you will find bones of the deads..." Sad, but very true.
Please, read article about the Goli Otok. It was camp for political opposers and potentially dangerous individuals. One woman who was in Auschwitz and other Nazi Camps and in Russian Gulags, came on Goli Otok after war. She said that Goli Otok was 100 times worse than all previous together. 4000 people lost their lives on that island (1949-1989).
But people liked Tito. Why?
I believe it was something like "Stockholm syndrome". it was psychological phenomenon wherein people were expressing adulation and had positive feelings towards their cruel dictator.

What Croatian police do, you can see in the video for "Republic Banana" (above). They beat Croatians workers and poor people.
Scenes from video are real, various inserts from the news.
That's why I always say:
A.C.C.A.B. (All Croatian Cops Are Bastards)

What we need is FBI. Police who can go behind the borderline.
Croatian Minister of Police says he will found Croatian FBI. He is asshole! Croatia is not FEDERATION, it is one country, one state, and therefore Croatia doesn't need FEDERAL police.
The Balkans need Federal (or something like that, probably different called) police. But, of course, Croatian fascist will react: "We fought for that borderline, our blood is in it, and Serbian policeman will not cross it alive!"
It is usually said:
Every state has its mafia.
Here, the mafia has the state.

Here is so-called "Balkan-mafia". Mafia groups from various parts of former Yugoslavia are united in one big mafia crew. Croatian and Serbian people are divided. Politicians are very hesitant. Croatians hate everything from Serbia, Serbians hate everything from Croatia, people are divided. Polices are also divided, they have bad co-operation. Croatian police investigates only Croatian cases, Serbian police investigates only Serbian crimes. And that's the main problem. They don't understand that mafia doesn't know for the borders between the states.
One case is assassination of Serbian prime-minister, Zoran Djindjic. His assassin was arrested in Croatia last week.
Second case is assassination of Ivo Pukanic, one of the mainstream journalists and newspapers editor in Croatia. His assassin (not executor, but man who oredered it) was arrested in Serbia.
You see? Croatian mafia never works in Croatia, and Serbian mafia never works in Serbia. They have very good cooperation. But the politicians and common people don't understand that they also must have good cooperation and be united if they want to solve the problem of mafia.
Its connection with communism....? I don't know. UDBA and OZNA (secret police) used them on regular basis when they needed to "remove" or "liquidate" somebody. And today, many of these ex-felons, have silent protection and sponsorship of the state. It is so-called "public-secret".
The Croatian people are intellegent, energetic, gifted.........you deserve a better country.
Well.... as long as they hate Serbians.... I am not sure they will get it......
