  Ex-Elders please advice on my first Public Talk as a MS.

  the topic is- "young people: serve jehovah wholeheartedly".. i'd appreciate various points that would make this talk appealing to my cong.

  youths, but please keep it within jw boundaries because i don't want to give my elders any hint of me being an apostate yet.. i have to say that i am still enjoying my newly given "priviledges'', and am still so surprised that holy spirit has'nt pointed me out yet.. agbm.

  "The Generation" in other languages ( ASL - American Sign Language ) Others?

  i was just checking out the article for this week's "generation" study in american sign language to see how they spun it for their deaf victims.

  two things stand out to me in this version.. first, although there is a relatively common sign for the concept of "a generation" in asl, the translators chose not to use it at all in the article.

  since asl signs express meanings (not words), they simply signed what they want the viewer to think the scripture means, not what it actually says in the original texts.

  Asilentone and Yizuman speak ASL. I understand only Sign Language in my country, but understand general rules of SL.

  But no, there is no difference between English magazine and Croatian Edition.

  WHAT?????? You mean the Bible is not meant for me because I'm not of the anointed? How comforting....

  BACKSPACER, are you surprised? That's exactly what I was told by one Gilead graduate, now missionary. He said that the Jesus parable in Matthew 15:26 applies on Anointed&Othersheep and "feeding from the table of God's Word". Annointed ones are God's "children", and nonanointed are "dogs" which "eat of the crumbs falling from the table of their masters".

  In answer he said: “It is not right to take the bread of the children and throw it to little dogs.” She said: “Yes, Lord; but really the little dogs do eat of the crumbs falling from the table of their masters.” (Matthew 15:26, 27).

  THE MEMORIAL IS ONLY ABOUT PARTAKING! Isn't it? Pargraph 16 clearly says:

  If, though, those who will live forever on earth were entitled to partake of the emblems, then this Memorial meal would need to continue forever.

  So, if there is no partaker, there is no need to have the Memorial.

  Why then do all congregations have to observe the Memorial, if in most of them nobody partakes?

  No, don't scroll down, answer me the question! Why?

  this is an excerpt from the final talk of the day, "remain in the secret place of the most high".

  i looked around as this explanation was being offered up, and the looks on the faces of people there was mostly disinterest.

  this is a very convoluted explanation that reminds me of someone running a con and trying to cobble together an explanation to deal with legitimate objections to their false claims.. http://www.sendspace.com/file/dodp4w.

  This speaker doesn't follow the outline from youtube, but speaks more about N.H.Barbour and J.F.Rutherford, and their issues.

  they were born in 1919 and 1920 (after 1914), and both died before the "great tribulation".. .

  THE DEFINITION OF WT SAYS:

  Jesus evidently meant that the lives of the anointed ones who were on hand when the sign began to be evident in 1914 would overlap with the lives of the other anointed ones who would see the start of the great tribulation. We do not know the exact length of "this generation," but it includes these two groups whose lives overlap.

  So, are Dan Sydlik and Henschel Milton part of "this generation"?
