  Erased articles from the 1950-2008 WT Library?????

  i have to fire up my old computer, but i think i found evidence of erasing articles.

  if anybody has the 2003 wt library, can you check 6/15/50 wt for articles very heavy on the faithful slave?

  the 2008 cd has none for that (unless i got the date mixed up) if it is that way, (and many jw's prob have the 2003 cd) will be wondering why they are erasing articles about the faithful slave :) .

  SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - Weary from pounding the pavement for hours a day only to have homeowners shut the door in their faces or not answer it all, Jehovah's Witnesses will start toting bullhorns to ensure their message is heard.

  Kingdom Halls across the U.S. rejoiced at the directive issued by leading Witness elders last week.

  "We look at the bullhorns as an emergency tool needed to spread the word of the Lord," said 18-year-old Ronald Plimpton. "Maybe the residents didn't hear the door knock because they were in the bathroom or working in the basement."

  Several sociologists fear these extreme actions by the Jehovah's Witnesses may prompt other institutions and groups to resort to similar methods. "We may see the Britannica salesman or Avon lady utilizing a handheld microphone in the near future," says Dr. Clarence Simolt.

  "I don't plan to use them," said door-to-door salesman Mickey Jones. "When you have something people want, there's no need for noise."

  Mr. Jones sells earplugs.

  I'm no expert, but it sounds like they want the "loaded" language out. If there is a way the bulleted items in the campaign section could be rewored, or maybe even take out the campaign section all together and let the Silent Lambs website speak for its self. That would allow the article to stay and still give people a way to learn about the pedophile issue.

  Just my opinion.

  the 83-year-old, who cannot be named, allegedly stormed into the meeting in the town of bielefeld and attempted to fire a machine gun at the group in july 2009 - but the weapon malfunctioned and the man was wrestled to the ground.. a psychiatrist for the defendant told the court that the accused had merely wanted to point out that islamists could be a danger to jehovahs witnesses.. the prosecution said he had tried to "maliciously shoot" as many as possible of the congregation.. the accused man has not yet addressed the court in person.. the psychiatrist said the pensioner told him that his dog had found the gun in the forest.

  The 83-year-old, who cannot be named, allegedly stormed into the meeting in the town of Bielefeld and attempted to fire a machine gun at the group in July 2009 - but the weapon malfunctioned and the man was wrestled to the ground.

  A psychiatrist for the defendant told the court that the accused had merely wanted to point out that Islamists could be a danger to Jehovahs Witnesses.

  The prosecution said he had tried to "maliciously shoot" as many as possible of the congregation.

  The accused man has not yet addressed the court in person.

  The psychiatrist said the pensioner told him that his dog had found the gun in the forest. He had cleaned it, tried it out and been impressed with the gun's firepower.

  The accused told the psychiatrist that he planned to hand the gun in to the local authorities, but then decided to demonstrate how easily someone could target such a devoutly Christian group as the Jehovahs Witnesses.

  The man had stressed that he would never shoot at women and children, of whom many were present at the congregation. The psychiatrist said the man showed no sign of dementia.

  Outside the courtroom, prosecution lawyer Klaus Metzler said the man had told a "fanciful story." Metzler said he thought the true motive was revenge, after the pensioner's daughter had joined the Jehovahs Witnesses and become estranged.

  Two Jehovahs Witnesses present during the alleged attack said the pensioner was openly wielding the gun, which was equipped with a muffler.

  Both said that they had been terrified, and said that many community members still suffered nightmares.

  Police weapons experts said the gun had been fully functional.

  The trial is to continue on February 24.
