Or even in the gospels, we somehow know what Satan said to Jesus while Jesus was fasting by himself for forty days. Did Jesus tell someone? Who did he tell?

How does mankind know what happen before we were created??
by James Mixon infor example, "and god said, let there be light: and there was light.
"a personal and vocal god said, "let there be light.
"so god saw the light, and thought it good, but how did the priestly scribe know that he did?

Wt video this week big problem.
by poopie inproblem with this week's video on counsel.
why did they emphasize the counsel and not the fact that those who were watching movie should have followed christ counsel at mathew 5 go to your brother instead they ratted on the guy to an elder and let him do dirty work.wow just totally ignore jesus words..

The real problem is that they are promoting a culture where no one has the good sense to mind their own damn business. Grown people can't decide what movies they enjoy watching? If his guest didn't like it they could always leave but they didn't. That was just thrown in there to try to be funny and light hearted, which isn't a JW strength. In the reality version, the guests all enjoyed the movie as well and see nothing wrong with it but make the mistake of talking about it in front of an over zealous Elder.

The obvious question from me is why does an ALMIGHTY GOD NEED MONEY TO DO ANYTHING ?
He doesn't need it. However, he gives us the privilege of supporting his earthly organization not only with all our time preaching but also by giving money regularly. Isn't that loving of him?

So a religion based on a book by another religion?
by TTWSYF inso does anyone else find it odd that jws base their whole faith on the bible?.
the bible was never in the plan for christianity.
the apostles spread the good news as they were instructed to by christ jesus .

It isn't odd if you think about it. Russel and Rutherford needed some authority to which they could appeal. The bible was and is a great authority to fall back on. Remember that the JWs were a offshoot of the protestant movement which rejected Catholicism but still held the Bible as the unerring word of God. They even called themselves Bible students at first, likely to show that they were going back to the original source and "restoring" the original intent of the scriptures. It may not make sense to us today, but for people in those times having a clear understanding "what the bible really teaches," was very appealing. The pseudo-intellectualism of analyzing Bible prophecy likely also stroked peoples egos as they felt they had gained a secret knowledge that others didn't possess.

The man is doing good work and exposing a lot of the inner workings of WT. If people are so upset about him making a living off of it, then they don't need to buy his stuff or read his blog.

This is actually old news. They have had this functionality about two years.
That's weird, wonder why they announced it then? Maybe, not many people are signing up on their own?

Why are there more sisters than brothers at the Kingdom Hauls?
by Sour Grapes ini have always wondered why there are more females than males in all of the congregations that i have visited?
some of these females are in their 70's so maybe their husbands have died and women just live longer.
or could the reason be that years ago men were the breadwinners and women stayed home to raise the children thus they were home during the week when the jdubs came a knocking?

Not to be crass but a lot of born in males leave after being DFd for fornication or they never get baptized because waiting until marriage just doesn't appeal to them.

This was announced a couple of weeks ago on the CLAM. You can now donate to any congregation, the worldwide work, and assemblies online. Further they have implemented recurring payments "because the hard part about donating is remembering to donate," they actually said that! I thought the hard part was giving away your money and getting less than zero in return LOL
