I love the Olympics. Track and Field are my favourite events but some of the games this week have been good. Gymnastics are excellent.
Great Britain are likely to do well but not as well as in London 2012

your qualifications are way above mine so i'd love to hear more about the specifics of what you have researched and how that supports the existence of a deity.
k99, i am not really convinced that you're interested in my conclusions.

simple proteins being charged RNA to DNA all center around an event to which caused the chaining to begin life. - Hadriel
I'm sorry Hadriel but that is yet another sentence that makes absolutely no sense. As in the previous thread you just cobble together random words and phrases - you too Ruby.
What part of the origin of the first cell is it that you insist can't be known? Is it all of it or one specific stage?
The transition from RNA to DNA is one of the simplest changes in a long and complex transition from geochemistry to biochemistry. Both of the two changes that are required would happen spontaneously in a hydrothermal vent which also provides an abundance of metallic catalysts.
I wonder if your problem comes from the idea that life originated in an "organic soup". It almost certainly didn't.
Do you have any interest at all in the answer? I think I will start a thread on abiogenesis soon.
i've heard some weird stories coming from jws about the paranormal.
i know about the warnings about items that come from unbelievers -- those don't interest me as much.
what i am interested in are actual experiences in stories of the paranormal you've heard or experienced yourself.
25 percent of the people hat fall for the JW cartoons are adults with schizophrenia or some related serious metal disease - Crabby
73.9% of stats are made up.
a thought struck me.
as young children we were known for often asking the question "but why?
" to anything and everything that we were told and presented with in life.
Every parent knows that eventually the answer to "why" is "go to bed".

after jesus fasted for 40 days, he was tempted by a man (not an evil angel) to turn stones into bread, jump from the temple and bow.
the tester was a pharisee of the ruling class.
jehovah's witnesses believe the tester to have been an evil spirit or leader of fallen angels named satan the devil.

Hadriel I am not being sarcastic when I ask "what is your question exactly?"
If you define your question I will be happy to describe the progress that is being made in this area of science.
Theists like to pretend that scientists don't have the first clue about the origins of life. That is simply not true. It is a fascinating field. If I was a young non-JW it is probably where I would want to have a career.

Because I never considered him a serious scholar.
Wow!
With a Ph.D. from Columbia University in ancient history, he specializes in the intellectual history of Greece and Rome, particularly ancient philosophy, religion, and science, with emphasis on the origins of Christianity and the use and progress of science under the Roman empire...

I'm particularly interested in the concepts which caused simple amino acids to be charged resulting in proteins which begin chaining and building life - Hadriel
This is a very different question from the origin of DNA.
What do mean specifically by amino acids becoming "charged"?
What is your question exactly?
Do you understand your question?
