  Can’t cope with being disfellowshipped…..Need some advice

  this site is great, i have been lurking for a while now.

  but i can’t get reinstated and have used some of the advice already given.. i was df’d many months ago and go to all the meetings and do all the preparation for the meetings, but the jc committee keep refusing me.

  tomorrow at the clam meeting i am puting yet another letter in and will be called for another dreadful jc meeting.. 1. what can i say to the elders to show that i am truly repentant?.

  Jesus Christ does not agree with your opinion

  Jesus is a pile of dust somewhere in the middle east.

  and neither do I.

  I don't worry too much about opinions. I am very impressed by verifiable facts if you have any.

  Religion should be at the very bottom of anybody's to-do list when they leave the cult.

  What you need to do is find a Church with real people to talk to, who will introduce you to the love of Jesus Christ.

  That is the worst advice anybody could ever give an exJW

  If for social reasons you want to meet with a relaxed theologically liberal church who could not care less what you believe then fair enough.

  Otherwise why would you swap one set of superstitions for another?

  Please listen to them and read some basic textbooks.

  The following two posts might help you get started and clear up some misunderstandings. Especially the second one.
