  there are many on this site that do not believe that jehovah truly exists; that he is not a real being.

  but, he is as real as next breath you draw into your nostrils.. some of you say that there is no evidence that he exists.

  yet, none of you can prove that he does not exits.. cofty, (you come to mind), i appreciate that you have stated, without reservation, that you do not believe that god exists.. yet, you cannot prove it.. hope in jehovah..

  I don't hold it against somebody to believe in God

  Fair comment, but when they make assertions about reality they should have the intellectual honesty to hold an honest conversation about it.

  I am sure that fear is at the root of all religious faith. Fear of the future, fear of the vicissitudes of life, fear of moral ambiguity, fear of death, fear that nobody is actually in control of the big picture.

  Sadly that insecurity plays out as a need to threaten others who don't share the same false certainties.

  it my understanding that he's claiming that humans have lived on earth for millions of years.

  it looks as though he's even showing different archaeological findings to support his claim.

  he seams to be claiming that other inferior humanoids could not created some of the things found and i guess modern scientists would agree on that single piont.. its also if interest to find out that his religious beliefs maybe behind his ideas.

  Yes I can prove that god does not exist.

  In this context ...

  1. "Prove" means prove beyond all reasonable doubt by objective evidence.

  2. "God" means the god of christian theism: the god and father of Jesus.

  I have already delivered on this challenge on numerous occasions but I will happily post a new thread in the near future to bring all of the main points of my argument into one place.

  New Resolution?

  had our midweek meeting last night.

  they had a resolution to send an extra (i wanna say $1100 but i only remember it was at least $1000) per month to forward the kingdom preaching work etc.. you know how they work in the kh...no one votes against anything.

  i abstained as i almost have always done.
