  Dealing with Elderly Parents Who Still Believe the jw Religion is the truth

  i left the religion back in 2008 right after my mother died,( the total lack of natural love/ affection was the final straw for me).. but my dad has become more and more focused on doing the wt bidding.. it just amazes me how he gushes on and on about the last days, his new bible studies, and meeting parts .

  but yet he makes no effort to have any type of relationship with his grandkids, there are 5 of them , non are witnesses.

  they are the children from several different sisters of mine, and myself.. so how do you deal with the witness stuff always being presented in conversations?.

  White clean shaven man runs over muslims

  so in england they report a "white clean-shaven man" mowed down worshippers at a mosque.

  why do they never make such detailed descriptions when muslims do the same?.

  i hope this event isn't a bad turning point.

  my muslim friends felt a lot of anger about this and the way it was reported (which I have sympathy for) - Laika

  Why?

  What could there possibly be about the reporting to cause offense?

  I heard young Muslims on TV this morning telling blatant lies about police response times and assuming wrongly it would not be recorded as a terrorist crime.

  The fact is the first police car was on scene within a couple of minutes of the 999 call. The incident was immediately declared to be terrorism and a meeting of COBRA was convened. It was unanimously condemned by everybody and has been lead item on the news all day.

  Nevertheless offense will be taken and no doubt revenge will be enacted by Friday.

  There is nothing to be said in defense of the man who committed this atrocity. It is a result of the binary thinking that sees all Muslims as enemies or all non-Muslims as kufar.

  This will no doubt lead to revenge attacks.

  FYI - Finsbury Park mosque has historically been linked with violent Islamism.
