  revip - NK do not yet have the capability to launch a nuclear missile at anybody. Reducing the size their bombs to make it possible to put on a rocket is a challenge they have yet to conquer.

  NK is an irrational cult. Hatred for the US is its central tenet of faith. Movies of the USA burning up in a nuclear conflagration are normal on state TV. It is a national mental illness. Imagine having a psychopath living next door to you who screams constantly about how much he wants to murder you and your family. ONce NK has a viable weapon it will effectively be living next door.

  I do think it will attack America if it can't be persuaded otherwise. NK is not Iran. Not even similar.

  It would be a difficult military challenge. NK has invested so heavily in weapons it could probably raze Seoul to rubble using conventional artillery. I think SK has a US supplied protection system similar to Israel but I'm not certain.

  The USA, the UK, France and Israel have shown that they can be trusted not to use nuclear bombs capriciously. I have far less trust in Pakistan and Russia.

  If NK succeeds in its ambitions to develop a viable nuclear missile there is a high likelihood that it will launch a nuclear attack on the west coast of the US.

  Unless NK responds to further pressure from China it may be only a matter of time before it is necessary to launch a preemptive strike. The death toll would be horrendous.

  The alternative might be the loss of a major American city.

  Bad_wolf - For the hundredth time evolution is NOT about the origin of life.

  Evolution explains how millions of species descended from a common ancestor. The evidence for this is not simply about showing a few similarities. You could only say that if you had never taken the time to examine the evidence.

  I used to be just like you. I thought I had powerful arguments against evolution. One day I realised that I was arguing about something that I actually knew nothing about so I began to study the evidence. I was astonished by how ignorant I had been.

  That is why I wrote this series. If you actually read the OPs of these 40 threads, or even a sample of them, you would be embarrassed by what you just wrote.

  Once again - most christians accept the fact of evolution.

  The WTBorg instruction to disregard and/or discredit any belief or opinion which seems contrary to their Dogma seems alive and well. Intolerance in now a "Cool" behavior.

  In what way is anybody being intolerant? I don't disregard theism. I spent most of my life studying it. I spent another decade studying after I left the cult. I really understand why I don't believe it's true.

  Next time you want to balance the discussion let me know and I will suggest some much more compelling arguments than the ones in those videos. They really were painful to watch.
