Paul had no concept like the trinity. But I'm not talking about trained Pharisees like Paul I mean the thousands of the earliest illiterate Hebrew christians.

I'm talking about before the NT was written. The first generation of illiterate Hebrew christians did not speak Greek. You said that it is impossible to explain the trinity without "the use of specific theological concepts encapsulated in the Greek language". Therefore these earliest christians could not have understood the trinity.
It follows that either belief in the trinity is of little importance or early christians were not christian.

I know they did... But that is a long way from the self-contradictory dogma of the trinity.

The earliest christians did not speak Greek let alone understand esoteric Greek theological terms. Therefore by your own admission they did not understand the trinity. Therefore according to you the earliest christians were not christian.

Yes your challenge is to explain the central dogma of the christian religion accurately in way that can easily be understood by a normal person who has no knowledge of esoteric terms like Homoousios.

If I remember correctly they started a separate box for WWW a very long time ago. Most dubs just shared out what they were giving previously between the local box and the new box.
Then there was a third box when the free literature arrangement was forced on them. They expected JWs to donate the cost of their mags and books and in addition to put in anything they got in donations at the doors. When I was accounts servant this box was as empty as Newcastle's trophy cabinet.
The "donations only" literature following the Swaggart court case cost them millions in annual revenue. Their huge reserves have been masking this for the past two decades. Recently they have been selling the family silver and stealing all the reserves from local KHall funds.
None of this is a permanent solution. I reckon they are pinning their hopes on armageddon!

SBF - Numbers 1 - 5 seem to be beyond dispute.
Some seem to think that the GB have all of these issues under control and are in the process of seamlessly changing their business model to accommodate them. I don't see how the evidence can be reconciled with that view.
Having huge reserves can mask a crisis for a long time but I agree the cracks are showing. "Jehovah will provide" must be starting to sound a bit hollow.

maccauk (and the two people who liked the OP) do you understand the difference between the trinity and the heresy of modalism as taught by early theologians such as Noetus, Praxeas and Sabellius?
Other popular non-trinitarian heresies include tritheism, partialism and monarchiansim. Very few christians who claim to worship a trinitarian god actually have a clue what that means.
It is impossible to explain the trinity simply in your own words without resorting to esoteric Greek phrases and/or committing a heresy.
This should tell you something.
